What kind of coaching is that? Clearly the correct approach is for us to just start scoring 120/game. That way everyone can have their ppg go up (except poor Asik, who has fewer minutes to score in).. They might squabble as to who should get the extra points, but then Jeremy will offer to exchange his for extra assists, which will calm things down nicely.
Parsons is already preparing for the departure of Lin, he already changed his twitter page background. He got a new guy now...Dwight.
Haha nice dream. I think the pace of the Rockets will actually slow down because we'll throw the ball to Dwight in the post more. I think we'll drop from 106 points a game to around 100 and not go up to 120 points as you said (though that would be fun). You're right, Lin will gladly give up his points for assists (he showed his willingness to do this last year). Parsons could really come down to earth with a thud. I think his 15 points will be reduced to about 10 points and he is in jeopardy of actually going backwards this season. It could be good for the Rockets though as they can put him out on the market as an restricted free agent at the end of the season and hopefully his price won't go so high that they cannot match. Teams might try the poison pill on us but our salary situation is not so bad and I think Les will take the hit to bring Parsons back.
It's funny cause he was the biggest recruiter for Howard...w/o Howard, he could have probably raised his scoring average to 17+....now, I don't see how he's above 14-15pt/gm
The good thing about this team is they are all unselfish. They all are willing to sacrifice some points to have more team success.
If being serious, the two most likely to see points go down are Harden and Parsons, although both could see their assists go up. If Lin is traded and Beverly starts, that will mitigate it somewhat; but I actually see Lin staying even or possibly even moving up in points scored with a scarier PnR partner to work with.
well, that's nice to here that you like Jeremy. anything else dude? Rockets are going to be loaded this year. Hopefully everyone can be healthy. .
Are you as through and through a Rocket fan as you were('nt) for the Nets and Knicks? How illogical. A fan of both the Knicks and the Nets, rivals in the East, until their Hall of Famer left (Nets) and until Lin left (Knicks.) And now you happen to be a fan "through and through" of the team that Lin ended up on? Your definition of "through and through" probably doesn't jive with most people's.
As the season went on and Lin got healthy his 3 point shot was good. He shot 39.6% from the 3 point line in the last 3 months of the year. If that was his average for the year it would have put him at number 11 among point guards.
