My honest guess is Dwight is waiting on one more move by the Lakers, Mavs or Rockets that will give him confidence. Like a sign from God. Let's hope and pray the Mavs can't move Marion and the Rockets can trade Lin for cap space.
Maybe someone could answer this but, I saw Kyle Korver just agrred to resign with the hawks for 4 years 24million. Now my view is that's a lot for a shooter so they might feel that they might be out of the running even though they have a lot of cap. Dwight has made it clear he would prefer 3 stars on a team, so to me I feel the hawks are out now. Feel to correct me if I am wrong?
Actually, it was Cyberx who kicked off this whole Dwight discussion on May 9 with a report of a phone call where Dwight was favorable to Houston. Prior to that we all thought it was only a remote possibility.
So... what you're saying is that cyberx was the one who lit the fire to create the smokescreen? I suspect that all of the teams are playing things very close to the chest right now and have guys like cyberx on a tight leash for the next few days.
Can someone fill me in on why it benefits anyone involved for there to be smokescreens/false rumors? I don't understand why it matters. It still ultimately comes down to Howard's decision.
Its annoying that all these media people are talking about how he's undecided or that it's all up in the air. Gimme a break, the guy has known for 3 months.

Agreed. I love how the media thinks they know what he's thinking. "Dwight doesn't know where he wants to go." and yet... he's supposed to reveal his decision on Friday? What if he doesn't make his mind up by then? Please...
Nothing to gain from it...it's all because we're following the situation so closely we make up drama around "facts" that aren't important. Someone else suggested Dwight wanted to go to the Mavs...and that he's using the Rockets and Lakers to create leverage. Really? What leverage? Driving up a price on the max contract he's going to get regardless? smokescreens and leverage are nonsensical in this discussion. the man is trying to make up his mind or he knows and he's just taking his time.
No, it's part of a S&T for Korver /J Smith.......to go w/Dwight....maybe..(lot of salary to take back) One thing's for sure, Howard isn't going to the Hawks.
