False alarm, I was using chrome and simply needed to clear cache. Nothing to see here folks, lock her up.
I use Bing... I get free apps and games for doing what I was already doing on Google. With Bing rewards I'm stunned that some people still use Google...
Probably a huge SCHLONG... why would Google need to give out things to get you to use it when it WORKS? I mean, why?
Wait, so why would you need to clear your cache in order to use google? I've never cleared any cache.
Looks like Google has banned you from their site. Sorry to hear that. You may want to email them to see if they will let you back on.
I've taken the bing challenge, & even with safesearch off, looks like google still prefers to shield you from certain results. Seems so.
So basically Bing rewards is a system where you get 1 point per 2 searches you do on Bing. You can earn between 15-30 points a day from basic internet searches alone. Then there are other ways you can earn points like taking the Bing it On challenge, looking at sponsor's sites, and stuff like that. I generally just do the Bing searches. With said points you can get stuff like starbucks giftcards, Skype giftcards, xbox 360 points for xbox content, and windows phone content. Plus there are sweepstakes you can enter from time to time for stuff like an Xbox, or other prizes. For $5 in windows phone apps its 500 points. Since I search the web a lot to find papers, publications and such, essentially I got $5 worth of windows phone apps from two months of just using Bing. It's not that big, but it's something I essentially got for free just by using Bing. To those who say Bing sucks, have you actually used it? For 99% of what I search it looks identical to the google results. So why use google when Bing gives you free stuff and puts up the same results? It's crazy... I will admit, Google scholar does outperform Bing/Microsoft Academic Search, but I only use google scholar when I'm too lazy to log onto scifinder. If anyone is interested, if you sign up through my link I get 25 points, you help me out if you can: http://go.microsoft.com/?linkid=9778718&rrid=_a52084a9-3daf-4ef9-1e8b-b326961af179
