I have no problem letting Barwin walk. He was a complete non factor this year.

I think we need to eapecially keep Glover. We can't lose any good secondary pieces. Antonio aso should be signed. I would let Barwin walk without an offer from H town. What a disappointing season from him.

Keep Quin and I'm okay with letting Barwin and Smith leave.

Remember Watt and Cush are due for a payday, can't open checkbook yet.

We were up against the cap already which is why Winston had to go.

Just to be clear, Smith isn't a free agent. He just may be a cap casualty.

NFL has a hard cap, you cannot go over it. Penalties for going over it can include losing draft picks, no team wants to lose draft picks.

Smith is not a free agent. I don't think you can buy him. A team with this many problems cannot afford to cut a guy as good as him. I'm cutting Walter and Daniels first

Barwin to the Begals cause one they have alot of cap space and two he's from there. Casey to the Redskins, causethey don't have a first round pick so they are gonna sign free agents to get better so why not go after a guy that knows the system and be a a tight end full time.

bring back Butler if he's healthy. Casey unless he wants a ton. Dobbins for depth. McCain. Quin I'm torn on...consider drafting a S 1st round if a really good one is out there.

the rest are expendable. Keep Harris, Gardner for depth?

Is there a site out there that has somewhat reliable cap room available for next year?

The only two that maybe worth resigning for more cash are Quin and James Casey. You will likely need to resign either Bradie James, Ruud or Dobbins because we will need veteran depth at ILB if this season is any indication. Forsett is good but I can't see us spending the money especially if we resign Quin.

Everyone calling for Smith to be out are insane, outside of Watt, he was our best pass rusher. We've seen how a lack of pass rush will affect us with the disappearance of Connor Barwin and Cushing's injury affected the defense. Walter is more likely to be a cap casualty then Smith. Although after today, I honestly rather cut Schaub after today though before anyone.

This is the second season in a row Butler has been put on IR, we aren't bringing him back. I suspect the reason they wasted a roster spot on Gardner all season is because they plan to use him as our backup swing tackle. Harris frankly would probably have to battle for the position of backup.

McCain is gone, we have cheaper options at CB with Carmichael and Brandon Harris.

I was with you on Quin until the fact that we have no one to replace him on the roster right now and Demps got beat by Keo for playing time in the playoffs which means we should probably resign Quin and draft a safety in the first 3 or 4 rounds for depth. Our first round pick might be better off being used for a ILB or TE.

Daniels has value...look to trade him to a team looking for a TE and willing to give picks...

Walter and Smith get axed bc of salary...
