Tiger Woods benches over 300# and was pound for pound the strongest scholorship athelete at Stanford. If you want to be good, you train to get stronger.
I am surprised he hasn't gained more weight, but that is to be expected. He's eating more of his Mom's cooking when he's in town (fish, rice, soup) and he won't gain that much yet. Think of the Dream when he first got here and even Kobe, hell, just look at Eddie, who should be gaining more weight... It'll take a couple of years and when it does, watch out...
I think most of you forgot, or did not know that Yao actually lost about 10 pounds in his first month in the States. Thus he has practically gained 15 pounds in the last 3 month. -G'day-
actually the picture http://www.louisville.edu/~j0li0008/ym.jpg is made up of some other pictures, somebody tell me how to post picture in this bbs?
dang, look at the size of his legs in the Gatorade commercial, my goodness, they're like double the size of the kid's legs!!
most definately. Yao's lower body is way ahead of his upperbody.. if his arms and chest can fill out like his legs have, watch out..
I read something about that too Stuart....and I am sure there is some way that the vertical can be increased easily. Hell I know Shaq added like 6 inches or something crazy to his in one summer. I know Yao is a big guy and all that but there has to be some way to get that vertical up 6 more inches. Does anyone by chance know what Sampson's vertical was? or even the highest vertical ever of a player over 7'2 in the NBA?
