Still, I don't expect Toronto to keep up their shooting. They hit some tough shots. I think Rockets will pull away in the 2nd half.

Why would I hate a player that we're paying 8.3M/yr for for the next 4 years? All I'm saying is that he's not producing and that Toney Douglas is currently doing a better job as a PG.

Oh and he looks completely lost today.

What part of that is untrue?

Lin for Calderon! Works out for both teams marketing wise, Lin can be a marketing tool for Toronto's Asian community and Calderon for Houston's Hispanic community. Help sell seats. To make salaries match throw in Royce White's salary.

He will, if he doesn't get benched. Lin didn't play well in the first half, and everyone knew what happened in the 4th qtr especially in the last minutes of the game.

Err... No. Old Man Calderon would be terrible for this team. We're the youngest team in the league, why would we take on a 31 year old PG who can't play defence?

TD is a better compliment to Harden. TD is not a guard with good point guard skills.

Not sure if you're serious but Calderon's skill set a better fit to play beside Harden. But he doesn't belong on this team bc of his age.

Yeah, they won't. They're only really in it, because they've been hitting contested shots.

The next half they'll be less fresh and those contested shots will be a lot harder for them to make.

This team is solid. Even in bad games like today, I just know that we're gonna win.
Harden- super boss today, for the way he's playing whether he's hittin' or not.
    CBang- mia
    Asik- butterfingers
    Lin- passive
    Mook- playin' hard
TD- good to see he's got his confidence back.
Delfino- too TO prone and goes into Kobe mode too often.

Lin is on a three year contract. Douglas is a better SG than Lin.

Nearly all of Calderon's scorings came out of PNR. The Roxx should do more PNR themselves and improve on defending it.

The Raptors were moving the ball and attacking the rim well too.

Mook never shies from taking the shot when the shot clock is low, and I'm constantly impressed by the difficult shots he makes.

He's not doing what you're saying he's doing. He's doing what every player does in a Harden centric offense, which is to space the floor. Pay attention to what Parsons does, for example. Same thing. It's just that Lin attacks only when there are holes, and when there aren't many holes like today when the opposing team brings energy on that side of the ball, he plays it safe.
To the contrary, TOs be damned, defense be damned, Harden attacks it.

I just wish they'd set more high pnrs for Lin to activate the offense more and protect the basket from offensive rebounds, as it seems to have holes there today.

Calderon has generally played well against Lin, even in the VaLINtine's day game. Lin didn't take off until the 4Q and then hit the game winner. Calderon must be sick and tired of seeing that game winner shown a million and three times in 10 months.

I like Calderon as a person though. But I generally like Latinos so I'm biased.

Calderon's notorious for holding the ball for a looong time to be effective. I don't know if he could play well without the ball.
