RV6, I appreciate the input you put into this thread and agree with alot of what you say but not everything. Most of all I appreciate you responding respectfully without calling me out for trolling.
Screw that. I suffer from anxiety also and I'm still able to pull of 20+ presentations to doctors, nurses and case managers. I suck it up and get it done. Cry me a river...
Look, I have been as big a Royce supporter as anyone and still hold out hope that he can be a major contributor to this team. However, based on his twitter tantrums and absence from the team he has not demonstrated to me that he is holding up his end of the contractual agreement with the Rockets. The team has accommodated his condition and been patient with him beyond what most teams (or businesses) would be willing to tolerate. They have shown a willingness to work with him by the mere fact that he maintains a roster spot and has not been jettisoned. As long as he sits at home twittering away his career without as much as showing up for practice or conditioning or medical appointments he is slowly losing whatever chance he had at succeeding in the NBA. I can not wait to cheer for Royce to be successful on the basketball court, but he must realize that he has to do his share of the work to get there.

I definitely think Royce is sick. Who in their right mind would do what he's doing. I just wish he would get the help he needs to get on the court.

Just saying RX2012....that's how it looks. @RX2012 - I'm going to respond to like this is a serious non-trolling discussion. I think you're mixing up two priorities. Yes, as a human being you have to adjust and be patient with a person with this kind of condition. But you have to meet them where they're at and take small incremental steps. Yet as a basketball fan you can't really support this kind of behavior...not at this level of a professional sport. So sure support him as a human being that needs help. But him as a basketball pro and us as NBA fans....no, there's no place for this here. Get help and get better elsewhere before coming to the big stage.
