ClutchFans Game Thread: Rockets @ Blazers 11/16/2012

Just threw mine against the wall and it now matches my heart, shattered. Seriously though I don't see these kind of coaching mistakes from any other team and if you do please point it out because I'm going fricken crazy. Stupid loss when we held a big league. At this point I'm down to sign Pago and cut Douglas because he's useless the games he doesn't shoot 75% from the 3pt lime.

 

Don't be surprise if Morey will be talking with Mitch this Sunday about Gasol once again.

Our three new pieces, Lin , Asik and Harden are all fine.
I don't miss Lowy, Dragon and Scola that much now.
Our problems are PP, coach, lacking of team work and no role defined.

 

We could have left Lin in and switched Parsons on Lillard….exactly what we did with TD

 

He was buzzing in OT as well. Tony D went 0 in OT.

 

right now our offense is too relying too much on harden. it's like harden plays well = rockets' win; harden doesn't play well = harden lose. basketball is a 5-people game.. remember lakers before pau gasol joined? kobe was averaging like 35 points game but they sucked as a team. and how's harden compared to kobe then? we gotta play 5 people basketball. J Lin can definitely be a play maker.. the ball doesn't have to be in harden's hand all F***ing time. we gotta install a better offense

 

I think Batum is there best player! Ima be voting for him nonstop to make the Allstar game!

 

How do the Rox number crunchers reconcile the stat sheet tonight?? Do they use Sampson as a footnote to why the team's starting PG, on his way to a triple double, was benched because Sampson thought that Douglas would be a better defender on a guy who was lighting it up no matter who was guarding him?

Just our luck to have all of these guys hitting their shots. Next game they will not be on and lose the game.

 

Things the Rockets need:

1. A half court offensive scheme for when we are not running the break
2. An improved low post game...
3. "basket attackers"....wayyy too many 3s and jump shooters. All these damn PFs and we take 20+ 3s a game!?!? tha fuq?
4. Less pick and roll....good gracious we are working this to death.

 

Let's hang him. Only 11 assists, 11 points and 6 rebs??? Taking charges and blocking shots?? What a loser and a horrible person.

 

We did well until Refs decided to take over the game. oh and Batum and Lillard killed us.

Why was Lin on bench? Holy**, i didnot see Tony play any superior defense.

 

Gasol for Lin+ Terrence Jones+ Dmo. Sounds good to me. I mean, our coaches aren't going to develop or play potential studs like Terrence Jones or Dmo over scrubs like Patterson, and they rather not utilize Lin so why not? Win-win, and McHale would get to play around and have Gasol takes 20 3's a game instead of Lin.

No but he can go back at Lillard and make it tough on him.

 

Coaching was TERRIBLE down the stretch (despite the Rox blowing a big lead).
