What are those scratch marks on Yao, and why have I never seen them before on any other NBA player? Could it be behind the scenes that somebody is caning him?

I was wrong. People can be this stupid.

Those scraches are courtesy of Brian Grant when we played the Heat in Miami.

not just Brian Grant, I think Shawn Kemp had a hand in a few of those scratches too... the other day, Yao's neck was all red, like he had been hit and scratched there too!

Other NBA players get those marks, too. You just can see them through all the tattoos.

maybe those scratch marks are tatoos. like when "scarring" was in vogue. i like when dudes get scars in the shape of horseshoes and stuff. its disgustingly cool. im going to get a basketball going thru a net scratched on my back, just like yao!

The ones on his back came from Kemp when we played them in Orlando this year.

On a different note (from the picture above) Yao should not try to dunk while standing on his toes. How can he allow a 6-11 power forward to jump high enough to even touch that ball. Nike, Reebok or Adidas better be working on a shoe that will give (spring) Yao at least 25 inches on his vertical effortlesses - otherwise Yao is not signing a new shoe deal this summer.

The scratch on his left arm was from Brian Grant I believe. The railroad tracks on the right side of his back are courtesy of Sean Kemp.
