The main reason I don't wear fakes is because I wouldn't feel right standing around my friends with their authentics. Also, my buddy ordered the real deal Johnson and I don't like the fact it says A.Johnson on the back.
Its $20 flat rate, no matter if you purchase 1 or 100. They also charge 8% for "bank fees". I did another order where I got a Watt, Cushing, Olajuwon, Drexler, and a Women's Andre one for my sister. I'll take a pic of those once I get those in next week. As for wearing fakes, I'm not oppose to wearing them as long as they look decent enough to get by. I've bought lots of authentic Rockets jerseys in the past 10 years (people that I know can vouch for me), all legit from replicas to Swingmans. Never bough the knockoff Rockets one because the ones I've seen you can spot a mile away. With the NFL/Texans ones, they are pretty close/look a lot better to get by in, and their current Nike replica ones at $100, I can buy 4 of these knockoffs for the same price.
ROFL...you think that the people making those fakes are a mom and pop operation or something. The people that made your FAKE jersey are getting a smaller slice of a smaller pie. YOU are supporting slavery, more than likely. Meanwhile, Nike employs people in factories that are just excited to have an employer that will provide the wages, benefits, and training that come along with the job. People apply by the TENS OF THOUSANDS to work in those factories. Nike may charge $250 for it's Elite jerseys, but the standard is only $99. I am assuming you think Nike is making a $200 profit on each Elite jersey they sell. That is just ignorance. Here is just a glimpse at the jobs Nike provides in our country. http://www.glassdoor.com/Salary/NIKE-Salaries-E1699.htm
Guys, take that convo to D&D. Getting back on topic, I forwarded a site to Dave2000 that if you buy 10, shipping is free. It has the same prices that I bought my jerseys from.
I can post links too. But back to the point, some of the knockoffs look legit, but the shiny numbers and font always stick out. Hopefully they will get better.
about a week, I ordered in the early hours of a Friday, and got it the following Thursday covered it on the first page http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showpost.php?p=7190499&postcount=17
So I see the sites I posted got removed......so I'm guessing we aren't supposed to post those sites? If that's the case, was this thread supposed to be created? I'm confused.
The irony of charging $250.00 for a shirt from a company that outsources most of it's labor. Do you think Nike gives a damn about supplying this country with jobs instead of outsourcing them? No, they care about their profit margins at the expense of my wallet. Works both ways my friend.
Yes, good jobs, not seamstress jobs. http://www.glassdoor.com/Salary/NIKE-Salaries-E1699.htm Edit...Also, Nike is a PUBLIC company traded on the NEW YORK stock exchange.
If your wish is to provide people with information to betray their own country, then go ahead and post all you want.
I just wanted to say was all that back and forth really necessary? no one has the right to tell anyone what they should/shouldnt do
