Marc Stein @ESPNSteinLine Houston Rockets, I'm told, have formally waived ex-Nets/Mavs/Celts center Sean Williams. Move actually happened Monday https://twitter.com/ESPNSteinLine/status/240609630777135104
Nah. None of his salary was guaranteed. From what I can gather, they may have somehow renegotiated his guarantee back a month (maybe in case they could use his salary in a Dwight Howard trade?) but still couldn't clear up the roster glut by the extended guarantee date. The move was made this week in order to avoid having his salary count against the cap. Since (to my knowledge) no other "non-fully guaranteed" contract (Livingston, Smith, Fortson, Simpson) has an early guarantee date, there will probably be no more waivings until training camp unless there is a need for that roster spot or if the Rockets are just doing that player a favor so he can catch on with another team.
SPLASH. In all serious news though could someone give me a little reminder list of whose been waived Williams Jordan the rest is errrrr a blur

I know what you mean man. Sean Williams was the last thread keeping me attached to the Rockets. He was hilarious in Role Models.
