Any 17 game stretch can make or break ANY team in the league at this point in the season.

Uh, yeah ... the next 45 games will make or break the Rockets. LOL. Let's take it one game at a time ... we're doing well so far, no reason to look too far ahead.

    GO ROCKETS!

well, the first thing i am worrying about is Rockets' consistency.

I don't like Rocket's beating kings and being defeated by grizzles and warriors. it is surely very nice to beat good teams and make headlines, but losing to lousy teams is definitely unacceptable.

I like it! Sure it is a hard part of the schedule but look at who we are fighting for playoff spots with. Win a few and lock up the tie breaks and go in as a higher seed. Then again lose a few and be on the outside looking in.

We play Utah, Minnesota, Phoenix, and San antonio. All of whom we can beat. The Dallas thing....we will see I think we match up pretty well with them if Mr. Finley isn't the 3pt artist that he was last time.

Personally, I think it's good to have strong opponents. The Rox always lie down for the bad teams. So, might as well play the Kings every night.

I'm with ROXTXIA. We can beat the good teams. It's the bad teams that have screwed up our record.

I think this is actually a good post idea. The Rockets could be under .500 by the end of this 17 game stretch. If we go 9-8 over the next 17 I'll be very pleased after taking a look at whom we are playing. 31-23 would be a great position to be after a rough stretch, and we may not be able to get home court, but we'd be in good position for a spot in the playoffs.

No team in the league should be labeled easy. Chicago beaten us last year and they are only a better team this year.

When I first saw the title of this thread I thought it was a joke, mocking all the posts that say stuff like "The Minnesota game will make or BREAK the Rockets!!!"

    It's ridiculous.
