I thought he was supposed be cut? Maybe Morey and the staff like him and he get his game straight. I always liked him at BC and maybe he can play the Ibaka role for us. What do you guys thinks?

I think if he's one of many non-guaranteed contracts currently on the roster that he'll be waived or traded before his guarantee date. If we can waive Lin because we have too many PGs, then we can waive Sean Williams because we have 8 too many players on our roster. It would have been nice to see how he plays...I remember a lot of hype from these boards when he was drafted.
Williams has never been that fat -- or as the younger posters would say, he's never had that much junk in his trunk.
It really isn't a concern, it has been said the rox are only willing to take one bad contract from the magic. I do think it is very important for rox to remain it cap flexibility if there is a dwight trade. The team need some cap room to sign free agents to team up with dwight.
Has it been made official? I do like him as a player, don't ask me why. I don't have an answer. Except there's a good 'Area 51' Mixtape on Youtube. I stumbled across it looking for Terrance Williams videos when we picked him up a few years ago.
I never saw anything official indicating that Williams has been waived. Could the Rockets have negotiated an amendment of his contract, delaying the date on which the guarantee takes effect? A minor move like that might not be made public.
