That was a grinding, exhausting first half for both teams. But with two days off after game 2, fatigue may not be a factor later on. We'll see. I can barely stand the sight of David Stern. It will be celebration time when he steps down.
Yeah that's what I thought too. Stern is a **** who the hell wants to listen to him. Gimme Wilbon, Barry and Magic
like i said, It's a 2-1-2 scheme, meaning they have to adjust to the rules. And coaches use the 2-1-2 in different ways. Brooks seem to like the half man half zone scheme, with rotating defenders hawking. it's a complex scheme it seems like, but they are like you said, allowing to much penetration. A 2-1-2 influence is there... i just can't comprehend exactly how they are running it.
Lebron is so scared to fail... wide open and passes to bosh with a defender on him. Lebron has no clutchiness about him.
Figured part of it out... Whoever the 1 is is staying put at FT line, if ball handler is switched on him and flairs out, the "ONE" defender rotates with him and someone else rotates to take his place at ft line. Pretty much what Doc Rivers did to the Lakers in the Finals, but Doc had to adjust to the triangle. only part of the defense, but it's effective as hell tonight when they run it.
