Raptors have Derozen. They need a point, not another SG.

Most likely Zeller will be better than Nick Collison. A closer look at his college career shows that he's made nice progress in each every year. He's also a couple inches taller with better rebounding ability. I believe he's got better upside than people give credit for.

True center like that is a steal IMO.

DeRozan is not that good. They just need the best talent.

If they get top 3 pick, I doubt that will traded, as well.

So, no one is going to mention Tyler's injury history ? Surprising, considering it included a stress fracture in his foot.

That would be a pretty boring haul. I think you go up and get sullinger and then get the best 2 available with your other pick. Sullinger and lamb is my prefered haul. We need to get some players with at least borderline star potential. Despite his tweener status Sullinger gives us that. Remember the end of last season when the chuckwagon started to find his offensive stride? I can remember more than a few posters wishing chuck could be just a few inches taller. This guy could turn out to be a taller chuck hayes with more tools to score.

You may be in luck. I believe the Kansas game showed Sullinger for what he is. A tweener who got exposed playing against NBA talent in Robinson and Whitney. Slow, no leaping ability, and no lateral quickness. Reminds me a lot of a wider Scola. I actually could see him around at 14. Even then I would hope that the Rockets have had enough of 6'9" tweeners.

I think I would prefer to hope Henson drops, or take Moultrie (which may be a pick or two early, but heck, I don't want any more short PFs!).

I think R.White has borderline all-star potential and he seems to be realistically attainable at the Rockets predicted draft position... we could potentially even trade down for him and get another pick out of it. Once these guys get on the court and start playing, I think all the question marks about his psychological issues are going to fly out the window and GM's are going to be kicking themselves for passing on White. The beauty is that the Rockets could have two other picks in this draft (if Morey plays his cards right) so they wouldn't be putting all their eggs in one basket, but that's just my opinion. Now, I don't know if there would be room on the roster (or cap) for three first rounders - or two firsts and a second - but that's for another discussion.

I liked Moreys selection of Morris and still do. Im not for the whole "value" thing. We have been drafting and collecting "valuable assets" for several years and havent been able to do anything with them. On the other hand if you want to go the value route then I think Leonards would still be greater atleast for the first 2 years. Lets take D12 scenario as an example. If I am the GM of the Magic and have no choice but to trade him or let him walk. I would rather have that young guy as part of the package who has the potential to be more than a role player than I would want a group of players that will never be anything more than role players. I hope that makes sense. Im on my phone typing and can't see everything I typed.

Can you clarify what you mean by "true center"? You don't think Leonard is a true center?

I would be very happy if we could get Ross with either of our picks.

Sign me up for some combo of Ross and Zeller/Moultrie/Henson, probably in that order, but if all three are available and Morey likes one best I am going to go ahead and trust his judgment.

My guess is that Zeller will go quite a bit higher though. He is the classic kind of pick that basketball teams value a lot more than fans/mock drafts. The feet do worry me though.

disagree. Best case is Marcus Camby, worst case is Przybilla sans the knee injuries.
