This is pretty much it. The idea that Aryan refers to "European white" was something engineered by German racialists during the Enlightenment era, and it was born out of the Aryan migration theory that the Aryans settled in Iran/India and were white people dominating over the dark-skinned natives. That theory is asinine, undoubtedly, but the term Aryan (in scholarly usage) only actually refers to Iranians and Indians. It's European usage was propaganda.

It's important to note that being Aryan isn't actually something "better". That's just the German propaganda that has become ingrained in our brains. It's simply a word and categorization for a group of people that settled in Iran and India. (Sorry for the triple post.)
Germans are right. It makes no sense to consider a Persian who originated from Iran who's ancestors originated from North India a Caucasian. Caucasian by definition means "White-skinned; of European origin" Europe does not include the Middle-East. I don't care for labels, but what you're saying doesn't make sense.
What the hell are you talking about? The ancestors of Iranians were Indo-Iranians, also known as "Aryans", who originated in the Caucasus mountains, NOT Northern India. That's pure nonsense. The entire point of the Caucasian categorization is that it is NOT restricted to only Europeans. Yes, that is true, but the Caucasian categorization does not only include Europeans. That's the entire point. Whatever, bud. You're willingly choosing to be ignorant.
Aryan is a race, and an outdated term for the race as well. I'm assuming you're an Iranian that's saying this, in which case the proper response for your "race" would be Caucasian/Indo-Iranian. Ethnicity would be Persian/Azeri/Kurd etc.
I'm not choosing to be ignorant, but I don't want to argue with you over a Wikipedia page I can be changed by anyone. Persians can be white, but by definition they are not Caucasian.
I find it strange that you are trying to contend a definition that is not up for contention. As the term "Caucasian" is defined, racially, it includes Middle Eastern peoples, including Iranians and Semites (Arabs, Jews). You're thinking of the term's usage from an American perspective, in which it only connotes people of European descent. I don't know how I could make it any clearer for you.

White is a skin tone. Caucasian means a white from Europe. Just because Iran shares the border with Europe does not make you Caucasian.
