I know he is a bit injury prone but I'd be willing to move everyone but Lowry, of course, for Eric Gordon. I think a back court of Lowry/Gordon might be appealing enough for DHoward. You'll need to lose Martin and maybe even Scola but I think it could work.

    Lowry
    Gordon
    Parsons/Morris
    Patterson
    Howard

That is top 3 in the West material but Gordon NEEDS to stay healthy.

I'd like to see the Rockets make a move for Monta Ellis if he happens to be available.

That's a potential championship team! The perfect compliment of players! But all of the stars would have to align for that the happen

    Daniel Orton?

He had some buzz around the draft but fell. Orlando hasnt given him a chance. He is certainly worth a look.

Bud for Orton or offer a second round pick.

    2 lotto picks?

On top of that, Dragic is staying here
lee we need to heavily convince and since we didnt extend him past the deadline, thats not good.

I think Dragic is leaving. A team like Utah or LAL would love to try him out since Harris or Fisher aren't the answer.

my mistake Jay. Forgot the not, as in not staying. GD is playing decent enough to start on a couple teams, like the ones you mentioned.

GD isnt the player im worried about losing, its Lee.

Scola for hill and scola. Landry can come off the bench and give the team some scoring puch, patterson can start to see what we have in him. Landry also has an expiring contract. Win-win for the rockets.

Gordon didn't sign his extension. This is looking more possible.

Orlando trade - Howard, Turk, Duhon
New Jersey trade - Morrow, Brooks, Humphries, Lopez, Okur, draft pick
Houston trade - Martin, Scola, 2nd round draft pick

Orlando in - Martin, Scola, Morrow, Lopez, 2nd-round draft pick, NJ draft pick
New Jersey in - Howard, Turk, Duhon
Houston in - Brooks, Humphries, Okur

    Houston
    C - Dalembert
    PF - Humphries
    SF - Parsons
    SG - Brooks
    PG - Lowry

With Martin, Scola, Morrow and Lopez, Orlando can still compete in the playoffs plus the 2 draft picks :p
Houston gets Brooks a young sg with potential and Humphries & Okur expiring contracts, more cap space,
and we prevent the Lakers, the Knicks, the Mavs & the Bulls getting Howard
    New Jersey gets Howard :(

    4 Team Trade:

Lakers: Dwight Howard, Jordan Hill, Chris Duhon, Michael Beasley, Hedo
Magic: Andrew Bynum, Luis Scola, Ron Artest, Chase Bud, Goran Dragic, Jonny Flynn
Wolves: Kevin Martin, Q-rich, Luke walton, $3million, lakers pick, rights to Sergio Llull
Rockets: Pau Gasol, Anthony Randolph, Luke Ridnour, Minny 2nd Rounder

Why the Lakers would do this? D12, an athletic PF/C in Hill, Combo Forwards in Hedo and Beasley. Trade improves depth, athleticism, versatility. Even though they lose Gasol they can play Beasley, Hedo, McRoberts or Hill there depending on matchups. Dump Ron Artest's and Walton's contract also.

Magic: Owner still wants to contend. Nelson/Dragic, J-Rich/JJ, Artest/Bud, Scola/Andersen, Bynum would be a top 4 team in the East still. Very deep.

Wolves: Get the SG they need and covet. Cash. Pick. Walton should be a goo d fit with Rick - in spot duty or locker room / teaching. Reunite Llull and Rubio. Would continue on path to playoff material without giving up much.

Rockets: Send out 6 players, Receive 3. Logjam problem solved. Sign Greg Smith, Keith Bogans, Jeremy Lin when he gets waived. Would become a legit contender anchored by a top 3 defense.

Lowry, Lee, Parsons, Gasol, Dalembert. Bench: Patterson, Morris, Ridnour, Bogans, TWill. Projects: Randolph, Smith, Lee.

WHO SAYS NO TO TRADE? If so, why?

    Boston gets:
    Martin
    Scola
    Hill
    1st round pick

    Houston gets:
    Garnett

Boston gets a big haul for an expiring contract while keeping Pierce and Rondo in place. They get 2 starters to replace Garnett and Allen going into next season and a free look at a big (Hill). A 1st round pick to add to their much needed younger depth. Garnett, Allen and O'Neal's contracts are set to expire but unless they hit it big in free agency, this deal would be hard to pass up.

Houston reunites Garnett with McHale and gets a "big name" player to finish season. More importantly the team trades away our two largest contracts. Rockets go all in on free agency with a multitude of options. From unrestricted free agents to trading for players for cap space. Losing a 1st round pick wouldn't hurt much either as the Rockets have youth but desperately lack "the big ticket";) player to build franchise around.

    Projected Celtics Starters
    O'Neal
    Scola
    Pierce
    Martin
    Rondo

    Projected Rockets Starters
    Dalembert
    Garnett
    Parsons
    Lee
    Lowry
