Would you take a bad contract for him? 25 and 11 in 23 minutes tonight. Almost a 20-20 the other night. He is really, really talented. Scola-Gortat would be freaking scary.
c: marcin gortat pf: chuck hayes sf: terrence williams sg: aaron brooks pg: kyle lowry that lineup will win a championship, guaranteed. unfortunately, mark cuban isn't gonna let that happen and that's why adelman doesn't play terrence williams.
I would love him on this team. So would Morey, apparently. But the Suns aren't giving up a young center on a good contract.
Lol are you kidding me? This lineup is a division potential contender's 2nd unit at best. And why you put Terrence williams there? He hasn't proved anything yet in the NBA.
Huh? That lineup wouldn't stand a chance. Who's the primary option on offense... Aaron Brooks? I don't know how Gortat's game would translate to Adelman's scheme. He seems to be racking up easy buckets at the rim in Phoenix, but is he effective with his back to the basket (haven't really seen much of him)?
between aaron brooks' toughness, marcin gortat's quickness, and terrence william's underrated dunks, the wcf at the very least would probably be a lock. trust me, i know what i'm talking about
OK, coach. I wonder why we didn't make it to the WCF in '08-'09 with Ron Artest's toughness, Aaron Brooks' quickness, and Wafer's underrated dunks?
maybe he was being sarcastic. anyway, morey missed that boat. he couldve been had, but didnt want to overpay him. the magic matched dallas offer for him, and stole bass under their noses right? it was a good move for morey not to get the MLE tied up when the magic wouldve matched. would be nice to get him and frye though. a player down low and a stretch four.
Gortat would have been ideal for this team now and in the future. Unfortunately, Morey tried and wasn't able to get him.
How nasty would a Scola-Gortat frontline have been? Hurts to think about. Any way we can get him out of Phoenix without giving up Martin/Scola? I love Patrick Patrick Patterson, but I might be tempted.
