Nope you get to keep V-Span. Just because Greek Mac pussed himself out of the league doesn't change the fact that your fandom drove his game into the gutter to prompt his bailout in the first place.

It got us another player I loved before we even got him in Scola, so that is a win in my book.

Millsap type. Tim Duncan has great one on one game... I have not seen Patterson do that yet, but he does hit those mid range jumpers when he is open... just like Millsap killed us in overtime.

haha, after that bank shot, i was like "that's how Timmy D shoots" but yeah, if he can bring us tons of titles and have MVP type seasons, then maybe.

honestly, when I saw him in Summer League, he reminded me of Antawn Jamison that can play defense. His jumpshot is almost like Jamisons and he was stroking the 3s in the first summer league game. He hasn't shot as many 3s in the regular season, but if he can get the 3 to go in consistently, watch out!

Next season will be his breakout year. If he doesn't go off towards the end of this season. I'm all for that, too. ;)

It looks like the Rockets are developing Patterson's offense in a similar way as they did with Landry's.

In his first couple of years, Landry had very few low-post plays called for him. Instead his points came from the elbow jumper, which he shot well, and whatever he could get from fighting in the paint or running out in transition. It was not until after a summer or two of working on his low-post moves that the Rockets began going to him consistently in games.

I do get the feeling though Patterson's development will be quicker.

The crazy thing is that Landry came out when he was 23 I think.

    Patrick is 21!!!

Patrick is already smoother than Landry is with his motion.

Mengke was born in 1975, and averaged around 38 minutes/game last season in CBA, playing point center and ........ a lot of 3 pointers.
