This seasons great signings (Under rated free agents/2nd picks)

Roger Mason and Chris Duhon, definitely. Off the top of my head.

 

Michael Pietrus has been great for the Magic when healthy.

 

I really wish we can sign chris anderson for our backup C position. He was a little less than a mil this season.

The only way I see this happening is if we can somehow buy out Cook's 3.5mil player option contract for next season. Then we will have enough to sign Ron and Wafer and hopefully Anderson as well. We will be over the cap though.

Imagine next season's roster with the addition of healthy Tmac for the guard position and Chris Anderson to backup Yao. Not to mention all our young players will get better with each and every year.

 

To be honest I didn't expect Anderson to be that good. Damn we really missed the boat on that player. Mad energy+rebounds+defense? A signing I really liked was Krstic for the Thunder. At MLE the guy's a bargain.

 

Also we were actually interested in Anderson and i remember starting a thread about it and saying it was a bad choice, how wrong i was

 

Hawks signing of Flip Murray and Mo Evans was very underrated. People focused on Josh Childress leaving but didn't talk about them picking up Flip and Mo.

 

I think Wil Bynum played really well for the Pistons in the last month or so of the season. Dahntay Jones has added some much needed perimeter D to the nuggets. And, resigning Delonte West was an underrated move, getting a 45% shooter and 40% from the 3 point line for cheap isn't easy.

 

Yup, both are cheap high energy guys that give them a boost off the bench.

 

So far Pietrus has been huge for the Magic! Played great in game 7 against the Celtics and hit some timely shots and played decent defense on James in the 2nd half.. great signing.
