What future? Look at the other playoff teams in the west and you know we have the worst PGs which happen to be the brain of team.

Good point! Why not RA bring on Brent Barry in playoff games simply sticking his ass on bench, the guy is a verteran, he showed big in playoff, he 's got a champion.
Btw, is that possible to trade AB and Mac to LA Clippers to get B Davis and M Camby

yeah, I understood what you said that AB is still a young player who needs time to gain more experiences, but i just wonder how hard he got yao the ball as yao completely sealed his man off. This part pissed me off most

How do you explain such a useless and clueless pg scoring 27 points in his first start in a play off game?

He has no future. Kyle Lowry is our PG for the future. Aaron Brooks is hopeless, It's impossible to grow a brain in the NBA, only skills.

It's not just that one play. In your analysis thread of all of Yao's plays, I'm sure you saw several instances where Brooks didn't get Yao the ball. I'm saying this has been an issue all series, especially in games 2 and 3.

The frustrating part is why is Battier able to do it. In theory, our PG should be one of our best passers but it's gotten so bad, it looks like Adelman is strictly running plays to get the ball in Battier's hands so that Yao can get it. Battier is not our PG - we should not be running plays to get the ball in Battier's hands, as that limits the rest of our offensive options. But sadly, there seems to be no other consistent way to get the ball in Yao's hands.

I also stand by my original thread where I claimed this is a strength of Rafer and not AB. As bad as a shooter as Rafer was, he is a much better entry passer to Yao than AB.

Battier always passes the ball to Yao when there is needed, he knows that there is a big guy inside who can score and this big one can pass the ball to his teammates to shoot an open shot, but AB never knows it. The problem is AB still does such stupid things without any change in the playoff ,I don't know what Adelman thinking about Brooks right now, why not give Lowry more time to play tha ball, why not?

don't even compare Brooks to Rondo. Rondo has played out of his mind in the playoffs averaging something like 25 points on over 50% shooting, 11 rebounds, 10 assists and 3 steals the first round. being by far the Celtic's best player. he's going to be a special player. defends too. but even as good as a scorer Rondo has been, i bet he gets the ball to Yao no less than 10 times during the fourth quarter. if the Rockets have Rondo, they destroy the Blazers, get by the Lakers and Denver/Dallas and beat Cleveland for the title.

Ab passed up on Yao so many times. The fronting isn't as bad as some make it out to be, but when our tiny PG can't when Yao has sealed off or is scared to turn it over, there in lies the problem. I never like trading Rafer, and is Brooks is going 6 of 20 shots what was the point of trading Rafer away?

The problem with AB is that he sucks with passing but seems like he sucks worse if he's discouraged so I think if the team starts ragging on him, he might do worse. I suspect he doesn't trust his passing abilities and thought he would turn it over which he did in game 2 at crucial times if he passed to Yao so it's better if he passes to someone else who will pass to Yao.

The problem is teams are fronting Yao so you have to get a higher angle for the low post entry. If you remember during the championship years Bullard and Horry did a lot of the l;ost post enrty deliveries,

Sometimes I think let Wafer play the PG is better than AB. He is a taller version of AB. What AB can do Wafer also can and he is taller.

I really want AB at PG to work out for us, but the more I see him the more I question whether he will ever be able to find open guys that true point guards are able to do. Being short as he is it is hard hard for him to make pass over the top of the defender, but what concerns me is that he cannot make good decision for passes on PnR or while dribbling the ball.

Force feeding yao is a stupid strategy. It just causes TOs. If Yao had good position pass it to him otherwise find the open man. Under JVG yao got his points, but the offense stagnated at times.

AB isn't a point guard and he is only 5'11, period.

Yes, force feeding could cost TO, but when Yao clearly has position, that's not force feeding...

Unfortunetely, we did pick the dumbest player to be the starting PG of our team... No doubt that Lowry was having a bad game tonight, but at least he wasn't doing dumb things like Aaron freaking Brooks..
