    Apparently someone committed suicide in the Hyatt downtown by jumping from one of the indoor balconies, maybe 30 stories up......

    anyhoo, that's crazy! that's gonna leave a splat, because thos windows are right off the sidewalk. i did't know those windows opened.

    The balconies are INSIDE in that place. That means the 'splat' would be in the lobby of the hotel, most likely right in the bar area...
