    Hayes easily..the "brother" that he kept repeating was dead on, he'd have won it in a landslide had he just wagged his finger

    lmao, spot on.

    brooks added a crack-head bob impersonation in there but his is up there with novak and hayes as the best.

    i interviewed deke for an article i did in the georgetown paper, and it amazed me how many times he references the number of years he has been in the league. it was like punctuation for him.

    for that reason I have to go brooks.

    Chuck's and Brooks' impersonations sounded most like Deke. Novak was a close second.

    Funniest comments: tie between Head (What?), Coach A (10 minutes, didn't understand a thing) and Yao (soft voice that sounded nothing like Deke, "Shake finger").

    Um, where the hell's Clyde??? Easily the best... :)

    I have to give it to Chuck, I really thought it was Deke.

    Rocket imitations of Mutombo

    Nonetheless, damn funny. Props to Novak and Brooks, those are some nice ones.

    bobby jackson = thats not mutombo thats a r****ded kid
    aaron brooks = the clear winner
    Steve Novak = surprisingly good, he actually put some heart and soul into his imitation, sort of like the song "hit em up" by Tupac
    Rafer's expression was hilarious
    Yao = what did he say?
    Carl = stick to dunking
    Chuck = pretty decent

    I love Luther's bit:
    "Whenever I hear Deke's voice, I always think. . . what?"

    Rafer was pretty funny too.

    And Steve Novak was really good, too. Another reason to keep him around.

    Battier's was ok at first, but he suffered from the classic misstep when imitating someone (as did Brooks): Keep it short! If you try to do a 30 second imitation of somebody, differences will become more obvious the longer you're talking.

    Either Carl or Bobby Jackson was the worst. Just terrible.

    Brooks and Hayes had the best I think.. I love how Aaron curves his fingers like he has arthritis. Hilarious.

    I thought Scola's was very underrated. That sounds exactly like something Deke would say to him every day. It probably is.

    "I'm the #1 one..#2...shotblocker in the league."

    "Don't worry about us refs, just ref the game; don't worry about us." That's got to be a quote of Deke, during what, though. I wonder if Novak was referring to Mutombo saying that from the bench while leading all the cheering. Did some ref try to make the bench players sit down or back up or stop smack talking.

    I am sure that's where its from. They are always standing right next to the court, so I am sure at some point (probably multiple points) a ref has said move back or sit down or something to that affect.

    This was posted before in poll form http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?t=144539 Maybe they can be merged.
