ClutchFans Game Thread: Rockets @ Grizzlies 12/28/2007

I have decided when the NBA all-star voting began this year that I'd vote for Yao, Tmac, Shane, and Luis with other positions picked in random EVERY TIME the rockets win a game.

And I haven't gotten a chance for quite a while since last time I voted. I hope tonight I could vote again.

 

I smell a win tonight

 

The Grizz are in major tank mode. Darko's confidence is completely shattered, Pau is moping around (supposedly injured) and the team isn't putting out much effort. Even without Tracy, I think the Rox will pull this one out. There is no worse team in the NBA (at the moment) than the Grizzlies. This could be a rare game that we win going away. We just need to get a lead on them, the crowd will start booing everything they do, the Grizz will quit and we bury them. If this happens, don't get too excited because it's more a reflection on them than us.

On the other hand, if we lose this game, it will just about prove that this season is gone. Even without Tracy, this one is ours for the taking. I smell an easy win.

 

Lets go Rockets!

 

Nothing this team does surprises me any more.

A heartbreaking loss to make us want to let go 2007 badly.

 

And Rox win, I like a win.

 

My prediction....

If we win - the haters will say that the Rockets are better w/o Tmac.

If we lose - the haters will say that its b/c of Tmac being soft and refusing to play in the game.

Can't have it both ways people.

I thought we would lose to Chicago and you got that one right.

I hope you make it 6 in a row but I don't like our prospects tonight. We are playing a young, offensive team without our leading scorer.

The only way we win is to play great defensively. We can not and will not beat Memphis if it becomes a shootout.

 

The Raptors are struggling just like the Grizz. They are searching for an identity. These next two games, we are catching teams at just the right time. Consider changing the Toronto L to a W if we take care of the Grizz.

We have little chance to beat Golden State or Boston, with or without Tracy. Whether we have a chance in Orlando depends on if the Magic snap out of their slump.

 

Are you TOF? Do you care Rox win? T-Mac is the number 1 guy on this team and got the highest pay. Do you think we should give credit to T-Mac if Rox win and blame his teammates when Rox lose as T-Mac always did?

 

Yao has the flu today, let's see what happens..

 

It's not very good if Yao has flu. I hope he's OK as we need his points big time. Is Francis playing?? I just hope we will win.

I think we should be RATIONAL and give credit when credit is due. If Tmac plays like ***** and the Rockets lose, then I expect him to take the heat. Likewise with Yao...

I guess in a few hours, we'll see if my prediction is correct.

dude you are getting too high on yourself. stop patting yourself on the back for 'knowing' that the rockets would lose. once, twice even 3 or 4 times would have been enough postings to get your point across. i cannot believe you are still riding that.
