I don't want to trade T-Mac now, I want to see how this baby turns out. But, I wouldn't mind considering T-mac for Rudy Gay if he doesn't get his act straight! T-Mac for Rudy Gay. Would the Grizzlies do it?

Houston and New Jersey had to be no more than 125% plus $100,000 of the salary given out for the trade to be accepted, which did happen here. In a heartbeat but NJ would never do it. Though it would be funny to see McGrady playing alongside his cousin Vince.
Tracy McGrady + Steve Francis for Pau Gasol + Damon Stoudamire As the Rockets I'd even throw in a 1st rounder just to get Memphis to accept the deal. Another trade I'd consider is McGrady and Francis for Bibby, Artest and a 1st rounder.
You guys, when you dreamcast like this, you have to attempt to at least come up with a trade where the other team might possibly complete the deal. No way Rudy Gay is coming, Memphis is building around him and his salary is no where near Tmacs No WAY Brandon Roy, young talent is always much more valuable that old talent, especially when the rest of the team is young No WAY Washington is giving up Arenas No Way NJ gives up RJ and Kidd for TMac and Fodder The Jamison / Butler trade is realistic. The Tmac and Pau Gasol deal is realistic but I would never want that. The main problem the Rocks have is too soft. Pau doesn't help much there. That is why in the two trades I suggested, I wanted HARD players coming in to offset Yao's softness.
McGrady and change for Andre Miller and Andre Iguodala. Gives us the PG and scorer we want and need. Not sure if it would be enough for the Western Conference, but I'd be intrigued. I don't think the Sixers would do it though, but then again, there were rumors Iguodala wasn't happy and if they hit a major losing streak, anything can happen.
I like your trade ... but check this out: http://games.espn.go.com/nba/features/traderesult?players=2386~2011~557~2763~532~3018&teams=10~10~10~20~20~20&te=&cash= Philadelphia 76ers Incoming Players Tracy McGrady Salary: $18,257,750 Years Remaining: 3 PTS: 23.3 REB: 4.9 AST: 5.2 PER: 21.19 Steve Novak Salary: $687,456 Years Remaining: 1 Luther Head Salary: $1,122,000 Years Remaining: 2 PTS: 5.3 REB: 1.5 AST: 1.3 PER: 11.48 Houston Rockets Incoming Players Kyle Korver Salary: $4,500,000 Years Remaining: 3 PTS: 9.6 REB: 3.1 AST: 1.3 PER: 10.44 Andre Miller Salary: $9,600,000 Years Remaining: 2 PTS: 15.5 REB: 4.1 AST: 6.1 PER: 17.38 Andre Iguodala Salary: $2,804,889 Years Remaining: 1 PTS: 18.0 REB: 5.9 AST: 4.9 PER: 17.33 I 'm not sure if Philly wants to give up Korver "for Novak", but maby if we give them some cash compensation or a 2nd round pick ... who knows!
Why would Philadelphia do that? You've got to at least make it fair for the other team, right? Give up 3 starters, including some young players, for an aging all-star who is often injured, a bench player, and a scrub who won't play at all. Philly is likely to keep AI2 and Korver. They want to trade Miller for some combination of role players + picks or young player with potential + picks or something like that. Would it surprise me if they trade AI2? No, but to throw him in with Miller and Korver and get less value in return...no.
McGrady, Alston, Scola, and James to Clippers for Brand, Maggette, Cassell, and Mobley New lineup: c) Yao/Mutombo pf) Brand/Hayes sf) Maggette/Battier sg) Wells/Mobley pg) Cassell/Francis
of course, we'd be waiting a while for Elton to get healthy, but hey, we're already 2 games under .500, no rush.
Someone else posted this but I like it. Marion/Diaw/Barbossa for Tmac/Battier/Head Congratulations on a successful trade. Due to Phoenix and Houston being over the cap, the 25% trade rule is invoked. I do that trade in a second. But when did Isiah Thomas become the GM for the Suns? Because thats the only way we pull off that trade.
I'm not going to put out any proposals, or even say I think it is time to trade T-Mac. However, even Magic Johnson said during the TNT half-time report, that the only way to fix the Rockets problems are to either trade T-Mac, or trade Yao. When asked, he said that you pretty much HAVE to keep Yao... Regardless of any other trade scenarios, I agree with that one statement completely-- don't even mention trading Yao.
Why are the Suns going to this? They are not broken, not need to be fixed. Plus that they could become worse.
