We've run the same play about 5 times in a row now. I think we need to run a counter and give Yao a touch in the post. They are back to playing behind him and he's shooting well.

 

he drove right before it and a few other times. not his fault he got obviously hit. when a ball leaves a guy's hand like that, it's almost always a foul and pro refs couldn't or chose not to see it. we had all the momentum and were probably going to win if they make that call. they then immediately send the grizz to the line and pretty much end our run and give them the game.

 

Gay and Swift seem to be motivated to show the other team who they passed on, but Battier seems indifferent. Not implying we shouldn't have made the deal, but it's time for Shane to show up. 0-4 from downtown, no good..

This game is over.....all they are going to do is drive, and we can't hit any outside shots.

I KNEW it was a trap game, they were just free stroking in the first half...playing NO ****ING defense at all.

And for those of you who think Rafer can cut it as our starter.....this game should PROVE even more that he is GARBAGE !!!

WHy didn't they separate and let Tmac attack instead of doing pick and roll. Tmac should just attack instead of shooting.

 

Since Battier cant be a third scorer and create, it would be nice if he would stop bricking wide open looks created for him.

i just cant figure out why - after mcgrady had been taking it to the hole so well - he decides to settle for an outside jumper when it's all tied up. he does this all the damn time.

No, I'm serious. Battier is really really bad. Think about it, when the Rockets offense struggles, who isn't scoring? Battier every time. He didn't show up vs utah last year, he doesn't show up on the road. Absolutely awful today.

And his so called defense......why is it every time rockets play the lakers kobe goes for 40+? I'm not seeing it. So he takes a timely charge every now and then, so what? If he could score to save his life he wouldn't need to have as good defense.
