but in the east, that does not matter. we're competing in the west.

if we were in the east, for hell i care b/c we'll be in the finals w/ ease. but we're in the west.

There is no way that Rafer played better than anybody even the slumping Mike James. There is no one worse than Rafer. He defines the bottom so far as shooters go. The last person on earth you want taking a 30 ft shot with the game on the line. You know, like the shot he took tonight. Isn't he shooting in the 20 percent range for the season? That is the benchmark for can't shoot.

Let's face it, we're going to have to wait till this rash of nasty matchups is over with before we can get any kind of glimpse into the free-flowing offense Adelman wants. In other words, we can't experiment until we have the safety margin to do so, namely against the scrubs. Hopefully when we get a nice 6-8 game East coast road trip where we could just blow everyone out, Adelman will force his players to try out the new stuff and we'll only win by 10 instead.

Check back with the Rockets in February before saying this is the exact same team as last year's, plus Mike James and Bonzi.

Look at the other hand on Tmac.

    Should that be a foul?

Looks like a push to me. Good call. (well, a bad "no call")

Yea Rafer shouldn't have shot that shot. he should have passed it. Yao saved his goofy butt, though. Mike james wasn't making his shots though, and wasn't passing either. A couple of times he penetrated, he had yao on a mismatch in the paint, but he kept taking bad shots.

the call on yao where felton pushed into him shouldn't have been called. yao stood with his hands up and called. Yao should have fallen back to get the charge, though I doubt the refs would have called it that way

I agree... different people suck every night.

These are the type of games we'd lose last season so I'm glad we're winning.

i do not want yao to take charges at all. i rather him get fouls than risk a possible injury. a 7'6 guy falling down is a long fall.

anybody notice Matt Carroll trying to get foul calls everytime he shot the ball. Looks like he's been hanging around Manu lately. He didn't do that last year. Every three he shot, you could see him kick one of our defenders and fall down.

yeah... that last call on wallace was pretty... bad, there was no foul at all, we're so lucky we got that call. otherwise it looked like hollins would have scored right there. i hope we can keep winning these games. we're gonna have fun with the suns and SA this weekend though

I noticed that on the last play of the game when Yao set a screen on him, he tangled up his arms and then flopped hoping to get a call. But nothing was as bad as the flop Manu did on Bonzi the other night.

Matt Caroll sure can shoot 3s though.
