Where is New Orleans Hornets? that team is like a kryptonite to Rockets.
No matter what kind of winning streak we are in or how bad they are devastated by injuries, that team will own us.
i think the reason is that Tyson Chandler somewhat contain Yao and limit his post game. Its like how Shawn Kemp can hold his ground against Hakeem

I'd really choose Mavs and Suns but hell i can only choose one. So ok, I think Mavs.

Damn, they're really good. I'm not sayin' about Dirk. Yes he's pretty good but he wouldn't have been that good if he hadn't had that much help from his temmates. Terry, Stackhouse, Howard, Harris.

I'm scared of Dallas but that doesn't mean we cannot beat them we can.

4 years of Gundy relics and 1st round playoff exits are hard to forget.

JVG apologists still lurking around, I see.

right now I am saying the Celtics...
we know what we are going to get from the other teams but know one knows how well the celtics will be, or how much of a threat they will be. the suns would be second just because of the success in the recent past we havnt had...

And, ironically, New Orleans will probably make the playoffs this year as a 7 or 8 seed. If I'm Adelman I start throwing games to make sure a first round matchup with them doesn't happen.

    Surprised very few picked Utah.
Utah gives us the biggest mismatch, with a outside shooting center in Okur and the inside fast guy of Boozer. Plus, Deron Williams is getting better, and Ronnie Brewer, their first round draft pick last year, is likely to start this year with his vast improvement and 60% shooting.

They were very good last year (went to WCF), and they are getting significantly better.

On the other hand, Phoenix is NOT getting better. They lost Kirk Thomas, a defensive stopper that bothered Yao every game, and Nash is getting older, and Grant Hill is old.

Dallas is staying just about the same, with the crew returning. Most importantly, they have Dirk, who never won, and pretty much wilt under pressure everytime.

Will be at the San Antonio game tonight! With the potential that this Rockets team has, I am Not "afraid" of any of them...! The one team that generates the most intrigue because of their owm makeover is the Celtics...

The Suns, that is why I always suuport the Spurs who can beat the Suns first, then the Rox beat the Spurs to go further. This year we are not going to have a problem to beat the Mav. leaded by the soft Dirk.

o rly? All i know is that guy is too damn fast. Even shane, our defense specialist couldn't keep up with him. We can sort of play with the starters but when the bench comes in for the suns, we drop a gear. Maybe because our starters are tired from a 8 men rotation by jvg. Hopefully this yr our deep bench can hold the fort long enough for our starters to be fresh enough to close the game.

Shane have no chances against Barbosa.

Well can you tell me now. Did we have an answer for Suns' and not only Suns' bench...?

Mavs, Spurs bench also killed us.

I really don't think afraid is the right word but I would say that Phoenix would be the team that worries me the most. Someon mentioned that we haven't had very good transition defense in these preseason games, and granted its preseason but if that carries over, the Suns will def kick our ass.
