If you want Motley Crue covers, we suck big time! We're doing three one hour sets, beginning at 9PM and ending at 1AM. C'mon down!
Yep. we're a Motley Crue cover band. The only difference between us and the other Motley Crue cover bands is that we have short hair, no tattoos, we're old and we play blues music.
I'll try to make it. I have a date, so not too sure if she's up for meeting a bunch of dudes. We'll see.
Pacific Islander? ^ FFB, if it makes your date feel any more comfortable Akperez said she would try to stop by so there might be at least one other chick there.
Sorry I didn't make it by. FWIW, you're more than welcome to join us tonight. And I did see Harrisment last night, so you just gotta know what area I'm in.
Well the Clutchfans get together ended up being about as successful as Rafer Alston’s chances of remaining with the team since the only Clutchfan that I saw was Pasox2. Don’t know if anyone else made it out there and missed them but if so appreciate the effort and sorry I missed you. Thanks though to Pasox2 for coming out and it was good seeing you again in person and commiserating about the toll age is taking on our athletic abilities. Did end up heading down to check out RMTex’s band The Juke Aces (correct me if I got that backwards) at Scooter’s. Sounded really good on some old blues from the 40’s and nice job on some R & B standards like “Mustang Sally”. If you like blues definitely recommend checking them out. It was good meeting RMTex in person and he's a damn good guitar player. Still disappointed you didn’t play any Motley Crue. Scooter’s was also a pretty interesting place and one of those authentically Texan places with some friendly people. Its mostly a metal shed with open garage doors, a concrete floor and a lot of stuff on the wall behind the bar. A good place to go play some pool and drink for cheap. I’m used to paying $5 for a beer so $2.75 for a Shiner was great for me. While I’m plugging stuff the friends I’m staying with on this trip are in a production of Gilbert and Sullivan’s Rudygore going on at the Wortham Center. Shows are tonight and tomorrow afternoon. Info is at www.gilbertandsullivan.net or the Wortham Center box office at 713-627-3570 So anyone who likes Musical Theater check it out.
Thanks for the offer and no problem about not making it last night. I've got another event I've got to go to tonight which I'm actually down in Houston for. I'm not sure how long this goes for but still interested in verifying the myth of Fatty Fat b*stard so let me know where you are going to be at and if I can stop by I will. If I can it probably won't be until after 11 at the earliest. You can send me an email through Clutchfans if you don't want your whereabouts known.
The band name is the H-Town Jukes. Thanks for coming out Sishir. It was a pleasure to meet you last night. You looked like you were whoopin' that dudes ass on the pool table pretty good. Thanks for the beers. And...by the way BBS members....the man's real name is Sishir. Honest! Thanks again for coming out, and enjoy the rest of your stay in Houston. You BBSers here in Houston need to get together with Sishir Chang for a brew while he is in town!!!! REPRESENT!!!!!
