I fail to see how this is funny. The game was completely over and they fouled Yao. It was a guaranteed 2 made free throws. Why waste viewers time? More refs need to do this. I can't believe the last minute takes up to 10 minutes to complete with all these useless timeouts and fouls. Great job refs.

It was hilarious because Boozer wanted the foul to be called, and the ref looked him straight in the eye and ignored him.

The only people who actually like the refs are Dallas fans. Oh wait, that's you.

Its the irony that makes it funny. The Jazz get away with lots of uncalled hacks during the course of the game. So its funny to see them TRY to get the hack called and it isnt. Like was said by the original poster: Live by the uncalled hack, die by the uncalled hack.

I just read the entire thread. You're right, that is pretty funny.

You are right. It's not nearly as funny as Dalllas losing the first round of the playoffs.

I guess that Refs thought that there was not enough time for Utah to make up the point difference. Maybe they did not want Yao to have 2 more points for whatever reason. Anyway, it was really weird.

    actually, I wouldn't.
we had the game locked up at that point, Yao wasn't going to miss.
Give me the proper foul calls on Yao any day.

I'd love to hear Gene Peterson's call of that play.

Ouch. That was a good one.

But maybe you should have waited until they actually DO lose. It's not over yet.
