    ST. LOUIS -- The Houston Astros have been saying for weeks the National League Central Division title would probably come down to the final game of the season.<br>

    Good thing they saved their best for last.

    With Shane Reynolds pitching arguably his finest game of the year for career win No. 100, Jeff Bagwell and Richard Hidalgo contributing two-run homers and every position player contributing at least one hit, the Astros claimed their fourth division title in five years with a convincing 9-2 victory over St. Louis in front of a sellout crowd of 47,518 Sunday afternoon at Busch Stadium.

    I think he means "rockets" (the verb) into the playoff and not "Rockets" (the noun), our beloved basketball team.

    Anyway, it's still kind of funny.

    How could the Astros have rocketed to the division title!? They lost 7 of their last 9 games and blew a 5 game lead before rebounding for the title!?

    If they wanted to refer to the Houston Rockets, they would;ve wrote Houston R ockets instead of Houston rockets.

    It did mean they rocketed to the playoffs not the Houston Rockets make the playoffs. What makes it funny is how TB thought it was funny but it really was not funny, that whole situation is funny.
