I saw Glen Rice today

    I saw Glenn Rice today

    I was at George Bush Airport today on my way back to Newark. My girlfriend and I were walking towards our gate and she noticed Glenn Rice walking towards us. I take a look and there was Rudy T. walking with Glenn Rice, his agent, and another friend. This was around 1:45pm Terminal C - Continental Airlines. Rice was wearing a Red T-shirt and shorts, Rudy wearing a Melon colored shirt with Khaki's. Rice and Rudy T. were all smiles as they were walking towards the baggage claim. A new era for the Rockets is truly here!

    I actually had my digital camera but it was packed in my luggage and I ran out of batteries. :(

    Dont know how posting that someone saw a player is stalking? Its not like he followed Rice around or purposely pursued him to the point where it was uncomfortable for the player. He just freaking saw him.

    It's not. And I'm sure Clutch won't be held liable for what someone who lurks on his board does. But this is a little creepy...

    Personally, when I see a sports figure (they are always around airports, and I have seen Hakeem there before) I don't bother them. I immediately assume that they're basically normal people who don't like to be hounded...

    There's just something wrong with treating a person like a god just because they can throw a rock in a hole.

    So i guess it was wrong when i saw francis at the mall and asked him for a picture and autograph, which he happily obliged and even had a nice conversation with (godlike treatment ?). You watch these players throughout the year and you have to admire some of these player's abilities on and off the court (especially Cato's ;) ). Why not ask for an autograph or whatever... worse thing that can happen is no. If you view them as normal people (nothing wrong with that, though its not normal to make it into the NBA), then atleast its one less autograph that they have to worry about and a greater chance for me to get one. As for sightings, keep them coming. There fun to read.
