Rafer is on now, JVG should be on as well this hour. If someone can capture the audio, it would be great. To listen in, click on this link and then click on "Listen Live" and follow the steps: http://www.sportsradio610.com/
Some recap so far... Rafer: Said toughest guy to guard is Steve Nash, says he's always moving with multiple screens and it doesn't help that he's a great shooter. Said it used to be a guy with speed and power like Baron Davis as well as a guy like Iverson, but now it's much tougher to guard/stop a guy like Nash. Says the Marbury and Stevie combo should be 'interesting', says he thinks the Knicks are going for an Isiah/Dumars type of thing, but he's not sure if the two guys fit that mold, but thinks LB will get the best out of them. Says it's always on the players when they don't execute and play well, because JVG gives them everything they need to know, and prepares them well every night. He has some kind of event coming up where he will play in a 3-on-3 competition, should be an AND1 type of thing I guess. Says he knows if JVG is pleased with him or not based on what he calls him: if it's 'Skip', then all is good, if it's Rafer, then JVG is upset about something.
Man, Gumpy is one stress generating machine. Not only does he get stressed, but he spreads stress to people around him. You can imagine how stressed Rafer is by deciphering JVG's calling of his name.
LOL! Yah, pretty fun stuff, seems like he REALLY enjoys having Grumpy get on him. May be he does some things on purpose just to get a reaction or something
Ok, it's one or the other, you must choose: JVG or JHo? Which one you want gone if you could only pick one?
Wow!! I would be seriously torn if I had to make this choice. I dont know!! I have to really think about this one.... Getting rid of JVG means getting rid of an outdated system that is not maximizing Yao's skill sets and is not fully taking advantage of Yao/Tmac combo. Getting rid of Juwan means getting rid of a lifetime loser, a terrible rebounder/defender, a very bad shooting guard masquearding in a PF body. So ultimately I would have to chose between the system and a major hole in the system. I will go with the system, JVG. Chances are very good that once we get a new coach with a better style, he will realize how scrubby Juwan is and he will hardly get minutes off the bench. Unless Juwan gets some photos of the new coach in some very uncomprimising positions much like he has of JVG's.

reefer is soo cool he smokes in the offseason in canada comes here prob picks up a stirofoam and sips some drank chills.... Raefer is tha man he is so cool and i used to bash the trade I love this guy and he is so far way clean for the team a good locker room guy in english. im glad skip had finally turned the corner congrats and go rox we have to push. I know a lot of nba players personally and reefer ive only said what up to once but he seemed tight.
Considering, he came from the ultimate grumpus in Sam Mitchell, Van Gundy probably seems mild to him. On a complete side note, did anyone realize that Rafer Alston is technically the only autistic NBA player. He has Asperger Syndrome which is a mild form of autism. Also, I believe he has ADHD. Whatever the case is, its pretty cool that he's able to overcome this along with a bunch of other stuff in NYC growing up to get to the NBA. I'm glad people are finally accepting this trade.
I had to stop at every second step, minimise the window and collect myself from extreme laughter. Just visualising that made me cry tears of laughter!!
Yes, but the question is: Did he overcome being shot nine times only to survive and go on to make multi-platinum records? He's from Jamaica, Queens afterall
