"It's one of the best we ever had," Tomjanovich said. "I've had things happen this year that never happened before with players opening up and asking for help and feeling they're going to get it here. On the day of the game, we have guys spending hours in hotel rooms with coaches trying to get better. They put in the tape work. We have guys come in early before practice and get in a workout. Players come here and meet coaches in the evening. Our teamwork has a long way to go, but we certainly could have taken a few more games if we had the right frame of mind and had even a reasonable FG% in the 4th qtrs. The good side effect of these losses is that players work extra hard on their game. As the teams gets over the mental slump, I believe we will reap the rewards of this painful growth period.
