I think Ward is set to be waived or retire, Head will be in the rotation, the guys is going to be pretty good, The interesting thing will be if the Rockets do find a way to get Jason Williams. Whats up with Torraye Braggs I have heard absolutely nothing on him. Let him know we are hiring at our bowling alley for clean up guys.

Can't have everything, but within a few years, I think we'll get a veteran SG or PG to fill out the roster. Anderson may help, but we still need a shooter. The whole offense depends on it.

Wow, everyone is soooo low on DWes. No love after a very solid year from him.

I wonder if JVG will go deeper with his bench this season. Assuming the above starting lineup, it's necessary for the Rockets to at least have DA, Deke, Howard, and James coming off the bench. Which leaves Jon Barry out of luck because DA can sub both SG and SF. But it's hard to imagine him riding the bench this year after last season's contributions.

I think that DA is a better shooter than wesley, who will be great energy off of the bench. DA will probably start.

Isn't Braggs a free agent, did we sign him again this year?

The best SF in the league
The 2nd best center in the league
An up and coming future all-star PF

    What a front line. :D

You think Wes is a better shooter than Barry?

Actually, in terms of field goal percentage, Yao Ming is our best shooter... <a href="http://www.nba.com/statistics/2004/default_regular_season_leaders/LeagueLeadersFGPQuery.html?topic=0&stat=6" target="_blank">#3 in the league last season</a>. Dunktastic!

In terms of field goals made, T-Mac is our best shooter... <a href="http://www.nba.com/statistics/2004/default_regular_season_leaders/LeagueLeadersFGQuery.html?topic=0&stat=7" target="_blank">#4 in the league last season</a>.

A nice stat Wesley <b>does</b> have is the steal to turnover ratio... <a href="http://www.nba.com/statistics/2004/default_regular_season_leaders/LeagueLeadersSTRQuery.html?topic=0&stat=20" target="_blank">#19 in the league last season</a>. Not too shabby.

Personally, I'm not <b>nearly</b> as down on Wesley as some other folks seem to be... and I don't think there've been too many names thrown out that are actual upgrades. So I agree... keep him.

I suppose because we haven't yet hit the deadline for getting the roster down to the maximum... 16 players, isn't it?

So what I'm seeing is we need a tall SG/SF and a specialized PF/C (shooter? defensive specialist?).

Otherwise, we are good to go! Bring it on! :D

Wesley is a 37% career 3-point shooter. Thats pretty good. Haven't checked Barry's numbers, but he's probalby around 40%. With teams double teaming tmac and yao, all we need is someone out there who can hit the open 3, thats why wesley is so important to this team imo. I'm sure DA can do it too, hes always been a good shooter, but he also is more prone to try and create his own shot, IMO we need someone who just sits out there and drains the open 3 like wesley or Barry. And I think wesley plays a little better D than barry because he's quicker. Wesley gets more steals than most of you realize. 1 bad playoff series doesn't mean he isn't a good player or isn't what we need at the 2.
