Who do we want the Lakers to play? The Suns are red hot right now, but I haven't seen them play. Portland could give them a run. Memphis has too many injuries and I don't think the Spurs have enough firepower.

Definitely Portland. That team has underachieved all year but they are a different beast right now. A disrespected Dame and a healthy Nurcic they can cause problems.

On another note, is Damian Lillard the most streaky star player we've seen in a long time, maybe ever? Dude is averaging 30 a game but his game logs are 9, 51, 22, 61, 27, etc... it's pretty crazy. Have always liked his game though... but he's a Rockets pest so F him

Definitely Portland but Phoenix isn’t a bad alternative bc they’re red hot right now. Even more than Portland. But Portland has the size/experience and backcourt to make the lakers sweat. Especially with how bad the lakers have been in the bubble.

phx is young and have nothing to lose

    Let's say everyone wins.

Spurs might be the first ones to go.

Memphis is going to get destroyed in the playin game by Portland. What a Damn shame they’re going to waste Phx’S 8-0 run with booker

If Portland wins tonight. They will be the 8th seed. Memphis is the 9th. They’ll play each other on sat. If Portland wins they’ll be in the playoffs at 8th. If they lose they play again Sunday. Winner is the 8th seed

If Portland somehow chokes and loses tonight, Phx is in as the 9th and Memphis is 8th. Portland is out

Yep, both Memphis and Phoenix win. So Spurs are out before even playing today's game.

If Portland wins, they are #8. If they lose, they are out.

Yeah, this is no gimme game for Portland.

The Nets play hard every game all the time. They are really admirable to watch.

It's going to boil down to who is hot.

I know Nurkic, Dame, Melo and Trent Jr are hot for some action as a matter of fact.

CJ is banged up and playing thru pain.

I don't think Memphis can beat either Portland or Phoenix in the play in.

This is inaccurate. Getting into the play-in required the highest win % from the total number games. Because the Spurs played less games pre covid, theyre at a disadvantage with the win %
