Does it feel like it's more likely everyone gets infected before we clamp things down and reduce the million or 4 expected deaths as a result of "effort free" herd immunity?

I’ve seen enough Darwin jokes here and there. But you may be right and the dumber you are the more likely that person will get this virus. So hopefully the average IQ in the country ticks up a number or two.

it’s too bad many of those who end up dying are the unfortunate high risk people living with or coming into contact with these Darwin Award nominees

Wearing the mask is the easy part
The social distancing part is hard to enforce

The Mist is an excellent nature documentary. In it a giant black fog starts swallowing up a sleepy town and causing people inside it to disappear. People start taking guesses at what the fog does but no one can answer what it really does. Not the Mayor. Not Science. Not even Scripture. Ofc, not knowing doesn't mean people can't pretend they do the most.

We're at the point where the survivors are so worn down that one of them will make up an artful lie that convinces half of them to wander into the Mist.

Everyone's patience is eroding away as the situation feels and acts the same while not improving. It's mostly the mouth breathers who are openly defying it, but everyone is still wishing for that lie to return to the way things were.

What am I thinking...the Mist was god awful.
