He sold the flea market four years ago and embarked on a career in advertising. Stephens fronts a number of promotional campaigns, presents a weekly radio show, has had reality TV offers and has a marketing book coming out soon titled I Believe In Me. He has also earned royalties from his mini mall rap being featured on hit TV shows like The Office and The Cleveland Show. "It launched my career," he said. "It went viral and hundreds of people started coming into the flea market. But they didn’t want to buy furniture, they wanted to get autographs and see me dance." As Stephens recalls, he was bombarded with offers to star in commercials and promote products in the wake of the song's success. But it was an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show that helped the entrepreneur capitalise on his online fame.
