Wtf does he not realize That those are also american automobile companies he is going impose tariffs on. Also it seems to use more harsh language on allies (Canada) than Putin. Has he ever used this language on Putin?

Trump has cost the stock market an estimated $1 trillion in value with tough trade talk
President Donald Trump's tough trade tactics and rhetoric have caused the destruction of more than $1 trillion in market value, according to J.P. Morgan's top quantitative strategist.

"By attributing the trade-related news flow (positive or negative) to the performance of the U.S. market, we estimated the impact on U.S. equities to be negative 4.5 percent" since March, J.P. Morgan's Marko Kolanovic said in a note Wednesday. "Taking the current market capitalization, this translates into $1.25 trillion of value destruction for U.S. companies. For a comparison, this is about two-thirds of the value of total fiscal stimulus."

Trump humiliated “weak and meek” Justin and his failed g7 gathering. How is it fair when other countries have been employing higher tariffs on our exports versus what we put on their imported goods into the us?

Trump is doing this for leverage. I hope the end result is lower tariffs globally.

How did he humiliate the G7? What by not agreeing to limit plastics in the ocean or not support girls education around the world. Good job Trump

    False. Look it up.

I wish Trump did(acutally look at the facts) before he went against Western Allies. I wonder where he is getting his info from?

Why is he not going after China and Russia?

I momentarily forgot why I scaled back my posting here. There are too many ignorant high school kids like Aleksandar who try to debate me. Total waste of my time. Hey kid, go read the WaPo article from yesterday that proves I’m right and you’re wrong. Hint - look at tariffs over 15% and non tariff trade barriers.

What article is that? I like how you characterize me as a high school student yet you use the term Pwn3d. Also unlike you I actually source my posts with links

I can't figure out if steel tariffs are a matter of national security (we need to protect our steel industry!) or we should have no tariffs on anything, meaning steel is NOT a national security threat?

And also, just to clear, it's only OK for Trump to criticize other countries but not vice-versa? I find it interesting/scary that our trade policy is determined not on any sort of policy goals, but just based on whether Trump has his feelings hurt on a particular day.
