This could be a great low budget basic cable series. Super dark & gritty. Pushes USA network standards. (previously, on C.H.A.Z...)
Nice!! Seattle passes an income tax law to start rebuilding: https://reason.com/2020/07/08/seatt...its-amazon-tax-has-come-roaring-back-to-life/
Washington State needs to replace the incompetent Inslee. This is the guy to do it. Joshua Freed. He won’t even take a dime from the taxpayers for his salary, he will donate every coin to charities.
Just like our president does? He doesn’t need to take a salary with all the money he’s rerouted to himself from his campaign funds alone. You need to get a ****ing grip on reality.
So your fukking reality is to let these incompetent ******* Dems continually rimming the taxpayers? No thanks, I’m ready for some new blood and if there are shenanigans with this guy, we’ll kick him out too and try again. That’s the way politics supposed to work, serving the people, not stealing and shietting on them for decades like what the Dems have been doing to Washington State and elsewhere.
Why...how much money has he rerouted? Is there a source to check? I'm curious about the tax returns of the Donald. Or do you think maybe all this posturing served a different purpose? These d!pshits opened themselves up to being investigated. Annual salary&net worth Obama-$400k $70m Pelosi-$223k $140m Warner-$174k $90m Blumenthal-$174k $70m Feinstein-$174k $59m Biden-$223k $10m How do you get from a 2yr congressman, to president on a max. salary of $400K and get to $70m? (that we know about). Do the math and then solve where the difference comes from. Surprising that Biden is only worth 10m since he's been in office for over 40 yrs (and has made such a huge difference...). He does own an island not too far from Epstein's.
Ownage. I was gonna post this and you beat me to it. Thanks bro! In the case of Biden, I’m damn sure that someone took advantage of him because of his cognitive decline, therefore he does not have much compared to the other thieves.
They broke his gate and threatened his family. Would you have preferred he stay inside, and just shoot anyone who entered (which would have been well within his rights)? Or that otherwise FURTHER damaged his property? So, let's look at cause and effect. The protesters broke the gate, and entered the property, thus committing at least a couple of crimes (breaking and entering and trespassing). Who escalated the situation, then? They could have just marched down the street. No reason to enter the property, and certainly not when they had to break a gate to do it. The 'protesters' were who made the situation worse. McCloskey merely reacted to what they did, and were doing. You can discuss the reaction, but you cannot avoid that it WAS a reaction, ie, you can't have the discussion without framing it in terms of what happened leading to that reaction. So, to clarify: You feel that anyone who wants to can break through your gate, enter your property, and threaten you? And that, when the police then refuse to respond, you should then just .... what? You further believe that no one has the right to defend their property? Correspondingly, you then also believe that anyone who wants your property can just take it (again, recall that the police did not respond)? The real issue here, to me is 'why didn't the police respond'? Had the police come, this wouldn't have happened. Gardner's statement is fairly ridiculous. If the protestors were 'non violent'...how did the metal gate get destroyed? It just feel apart on its own? Given that, her stance on which behavior is unacceptable is also backwards. Unless people here believe breaking and entering, and trespassing, is totally acceptable behaviour?
https://www.nytimes.com/2020/08/07/us/defund-police-seattle-protests.html Updates for you guys about my friend and his family that’s been staying with me, ever since those bastards torched his business that took him 30 years out of his life to build. We salvaged what we could from the damages, for 2 straight weeks, we’ve been bursting our asses salvaging. We had unloaded the equipment that are still in good condition for pennies on the dollar. He had filed a claim with his insurance company and waiting for a settlement. He had joined a class action suit against the city of Seattle. His house is up for sale since late June and is now in closing. He’s headed for Texas and will be staying at my Conroe home. This is a very good man and a lifelong bleeding heart liberal who is now hardened his heart and #WalkAway. It’s very touching and emotional for what he and his family are going through at the moment. I have done everything that I can to help including advancing him a tidy sum for a fresh start in TX. You guys can argue all day long here in this forum, but when it hits close to home, you would not be so smug to dismiss these casualties of this war.
the top-rated comment there by a HUGE margin is this one: worldaccord oxford 12h ago This is pretty amazing because I certainly don't recall the NYT reporting on the chaos while it was occurring. The NYT reports made it sound like Seattle was having a block party when in fact the opposite was true. I saw some reports of the chaos on Facebook, but figured it was just right wing propaganda. I guess I'll have to get serious about getting the truth from many news sources going forward. It's naive to think that news reporting is not influenced by political agendas of those reporting it. I'm liberal, but I still like to know the truth even if it flies in the face of my beliefs and forces me to rethink them rationally.
I was at the rally this morning in downtown Seattle to defend the police and not defund. What an incredible turnout. I guess the people of Seattle are finally fed up with this anarchy, Marxist crap. An ex Seattle SuperSonics was there as a guest speaker, James Donaldson is the freaking bomb, the crowds loved him. He played college hoops at UW and signed with the Supersonics after college. He lives in Mill Creek about 15 mins from my home. I got a chance to meet him, he’s a freaking mountain at 7’2”, I’m about a little over 6’ with shoes, 5’11”3/4 without and he made me look like a little hobbit. The crowd was thoroughly energized, a lot of anger and venting for what had happened to Seattle. Now, our next project is to kick all these damn Marxist city councils to the gutters to retake the city, especially their communist leader city council Sawant. We need to send her socialist ass packing to destroy people’s lives somewhere other than Seattle. A lot of us were floating around an excellent idea which is stop paying taxes if the city keeps playing this stupid game. Local government supposed to protect the taxpayers, once that ceases, taxpayers should cease paying taxes. We would be better off hiring a private security force to protect us, I’d bet you our SPD would be glad to take the job. They’re gonna put it up for the votes tomorrow. Stay tuned boys and girls.
The city council voted to defund the police yesterday. It’s time for Seattleites to stop paying the taxes and kick these damn Marxists to the streets. Enough with these stupid games, take back your freakin city already! Most of the laid off are officers of color. Who knew these leftists can be so racist?
Obama's worth is very well documented. You do know that right? We pretty much exactly know we're his wealth came from (book deals, Netflix, speaking engagements). Releasing more than a decades worth of your tax returns alleviates suspension. Pelosi and Feinstein however... Ya those people are part of the DC swamp.
Those damn Marxists cutting government... The Police Chief retired after facing a cut to her $285K salary.
