    He was in the right place at the right time and basically did the Sears Catalogue, but at the time in which folks were finally ok with buying online.

    Nothing truly spectacular - and it has destroyed mom and pop shops and changed our economy, not in a good way.

    What would be BETTER would be for the USA to tax his sales, the lack of having to pay sales tax for so long gave him a massive advantage, but law makers are always REACTIONARY in technology leaps, usually several years behind.

    So yeah, he is ok, but needs to pay a lot more in taxes, both him and his company.

    You are a difficult man to impress... lots of people have ideas, execution matters too. And it's not like Amazon don't have good ideas - they've created whole new product/service categories (Kindle, AWS, Echo) while transforming others (logistics). He was also an early investor in google. If Bezos treats citizens as well has he does Prime members, he would make a great prez imo.

    all they do is put basketballs in a hoop while janitors actually clean things and make it safe and clean for people

    let's just say i worked my ass off to create an electric vehicle and i went up against the entire automobile industry from detroit, japan, and korea and I won.

    Keep in mind this is the same fanbase who complains that our billionaire owner is cheap and poor
    while other billionaire owners have more money and aren't cheap

    A billionaire who has the biggest ecommerce company is the world is going to have way more money than the dude who created Joe's Crab shack.
