Is he even in basketball shape?

The guy just recovered from Covid-19 and he himself said he went through a rough time.

If Luc can get himself 100%, he could be our ace in the hole in playoffs. Mike already knows how effective he can be on offense and defense.

Patience. For both Rockets and Luc's sake.

Team does not need him yet anyway, we fans are just too anxious.

This makes me want the Clips even more.

Every team does not to face Rockets in playoffs. Like in past seasons, teams will try playing seeding game to avoid us.

    With good reason.

Well, I don't think he's going to see any time. He doesn't really have an edge over Sefolosha nor Carroll, in either health nor chemistry. Unless those two forget how to play basketball completely, I think LMAM is just a cheerleader, at this point in time.

It's also difficult to evaluate LMAM in such a short amount of time.

Our success is dependent on containing Melo.

    Thabo is not with team.

And MDA and Morey do not know or trust Demarre like they do Luc.

This is a good point -- how is he (really) feeling... does he truly have his wind and legs back?

IMO, this is a mental game for us tonight. We need to stay focused and just let the systems work. No heroball. If it’s there take it without hesitation if not movement and ball movement are key. We can’t get caught up in personal battles. Make sure we are up by at least 6+ points going into the last 30 seconds of the game to keep the officiating honest.

That isn't true, is it? Them not starting Nurkic just because of the matchup would be as silly as us starting Tyson Chandler for certain matchups. He's their second best player and has been killing it in the bubble so far.

Do not know if truth, but that is their only chance to match up with us.

Harden and Westbrook will cook Nurkic.

I know we're coming off of two wins, but we're not unbeatable. We had to eek those out. Nurkic isn't even terrible on the perimeter, it's not like he's Enes Kanter.

yup. while I love the last two wins, tonight is a pretty tough spot for the rockets. Port needs this win much more than the rockets. This is going to be a classic garm thread night much like the mavs thread.

This will be a difficult game. Portland is desperate to catch the Grizzlies. We're jockeying for position ourselves and attempting to figure out just how good we are, and how well we'll play when it matters most. When teams will throw the kitchen sink at us.

    Anyone know a good plumber?
