James got the better game on Friday than Luka and we won.
James didn’t shoot that well Sunday but he did defended well and made the right decisions. He got a bunch of open looks to PJ, Covington & Jeff. They were just not making it but he got everyone envolved.
And let’s not forget the Mavs lost to the suns.

If the question was framed who would you take for the future, obviously Luka is the answer.

If the question was posed as a today scenario, anyone who chooses Luka should check into the asylum old mate has checked himself into when arguing Lin is better than Luka.

I can understand a little hate for Luka since he plays for the Mavs.

But honestly the kid has adopted a lot of his offensive arsenal around James Harden. There's no greater compliment than that.

I said it long ago, I learnt my lesson in hating LeBron for the greater part of his entire career and didn't allow myself to appreciate greatness.

Even though he's playing for the Mavs, I'm not going to let the same thing happen with Luka. He is undoubtedly special. No one is certain where his trajectory is going to take him in the sense of whether he's reached his ceiling already having played professionally at a young age, or whether he isn't even scratching the surface. All I know is i'm going to enjoy the show because I enjoy watching him play.

Now do I hope he ends up hating Dallas and requests a trade? Abso-f*****g-lutely.

If the Rockets were to win he'll be the first one saying it isn't really legitimate. I mean this is a guy that thinks the first two Rockets champions are asterisks so obviously he's very delusional.

 

This explains a lot I guess. The trolling last night in the game thread to start a anti harden flamewar was pretty lame. I just don’t understand these folks logic.

 

FWIW, the Mavs absolutely suck at end of game in close games. Not all on Luka, who has at times (more last year than this year) made some just incredible late game shots, but the myth around Luka on this, for now, greatly exceeds the reality. He doesn't strike me as someone who shirks from the pressure, and maybe this year is just an aberration, but that's where he is at now.
