The House hate comes from those who expected him last season (a player who had no NBA postseason experience) to be the piece to put us over-the-top against GSW

Lmao.... Fickle memories, he shot 40% from 3 in the playoffs last year.

Well, he had a tough year but one shouldn't forget his recent past.

He is one of the players that have positive runs and bad shooting slumps.

Seems like rockets are after a war of attrition.

Mavs played along and made it to the end of regulation only to be tied.
Mavs had a billion points and still lost. Mavs had given it all and were still gassed in the end rockets still shooting 3s .

Not sure if I like it..think it will work or anything else but it is interesting strategy.

Mavs are a tough out and one of the few teams that can actually hang with this style of play..

Even the Lakers will fall into the 3 trap and not be able to keep up..
Its probably clippers although im not sure who can keep up?
My bbs opinion very strange but it might friggin work lol

Its pretty much what the warriors did. Score score score and next thing you know they run off 10-12 points. Credit to mavs ..Mavs may well be that team I wouldnt mind avoiding

nice try but the stat dont tell the complete story of the player...imho his shot selection is pathetic and counterproductive...
btw i surely do appreciate ego somewhat for what he has done as a rocket but i trust austin rivers more

I like EGo coming off the bench and not starting, so the injury sets up House getting more (starting) playing time and he came through:

20 points, 5 rebs, 2 stls, 1 ast, 6-12 from 3 (50%)......Gordon was shooting poorly in the scrimmages imo

Damn that was a fun game. Kinda made me want to see them in the playoffs if that's possible.

I agree. The less amount of defense that Gordon has to play, will make it easier for him to score.

Good points, but I think our experience will give us the edge over the Mavs in the playoffs. Let’s enjoy imagining how Cuban is feeling after this loss! He will probably be pulling his hair out.

And that’s with him struggling most of the game...special player.

For the rockets, I think your ideal first round matchup is either the Nuggets or Jazz. Frankly, I think OKC, Mavs, or whoever the 8th seed ends up being, will all be tougher matchups, so you almost want to play well enough to stay mid-seeded for that matchup but not good enough to leapfrog them in the standings.
