Not surprised that trump's biggest defender here is now trying to divert blame from trump's complete failure to address COVID-19 by accusing Democrats... yup, bigtexx has sunk this low...

It's humorous that republican leaders have tried to trick them into wearing masks by changing the message and calling them 'face coverings' -- it seems to be starting to work on some of them...

I ain't wearing no mask, but I'll put on a face covering

This is how you force a season to get cancelled.

You need to check yourself. Your words reflect your politics-over-everything world view. Dump that world view on others at your risk.

Is there negative political fallout on Trump, Abbott and other politicians (edit) in charge when cases and deaths surge? Of course there is. They are supposed to lead.

BUT that common sense recognition is a far cry from what you are saying...that people want covid to surge for political gain, despite the terrible impact on their family, friends and neighbors. And to suggest that that is Debs world view just because Deb has been critical of trump or Abbott, or your bogus fixation on deaths or Cuomo...you need to check yourself.

Most people aren’t party over country, friends, family and neighbors. Look in the mirror.

clown low IQ Trumpers like bigtexxx continue to expose themselves for the trash that they are

now it’s “liberals are rooting for more cases and deaths to make Trump look bad”

u poor, sad little excuse for a man

as if people enjoy sitting at home with all these societal restrictions with seemingly no end in sight until there’s an effective vaccine...as if people enjoy constantly worrying about their high risk loved ones

we’re looking at possibly 2 years of our lives halted and upended because of this virus...many people’s lives will never be the same because of this

yeah, that’s what liberals are rooting for

    foh chump

theres also a big difference between protesting outdoors with majority of people wearing masks vs sitting in an enclosed space for hours at a time with no masks on.

“Studies suggest activities held outdoors as temperatures warm pose lower COVID risk than those done in confined indoor spaces,” tweeted Scott Gottlieb, the former Food and Drug Administration commissioner. “It definitely spreads more indoors than outdoors,” said Roger Shapiro, a professor at Harvard University's T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
    https://thehill.com/policy/healthcare/496483-evidence-mounts-that-outside-is-safer-when-it-comes-to-covid-19

“We know that being outdoors is lower risk for coronavirus transmission than being indoors. Julia L. Marcus, an epidemiologist and assistant professor at Harvard Medical School. “I think outdoors is so much better than indoors in almost all cases,” said Linsey Marr, an engineering professor and aerosol scientist at Virginia Tech. “There’s so much dilution that happens outdoors.

Early case studies. Since they are not peer-reviewed there should be more scrutiny when analyzing the information but the data is pretty overwhelming. It should be pretty obvious and common sense that indoor is going to be worse than outdoor for infection spread anyway but here we are....

We divided the venues in which the outbreaks occurred into six categories: homes, transport, food, entertainment, shopping, and miscellaneous. Among the identified outbreaks, 53.8% involved three cases, 26.4% involved four cases, and only 1.6% involved ten or more cases. Home outbreaks were the dominant category (254 of 318 outbreaks; 79.9%), followed by transport (108; 34.0%; note that many outbreaks involved more than one venue category). Most home outbreaks involved three to five cases. We identified only a single outbreak in an outdoor environment, which involved two cases. Conclusions: All identified outbreaks of three or more cases occurred in an indoor environment, which confirms that sharing indoor space is a major SARS-CoV-2 infection risk.

The odds that a primary case transmitted COVID-19 in a closed environment was 18.7 times greater compared to an open-air environment. https://www.medrxiv.org/content/10.1101/2020.02.28.20029272v2

I agree. That's disgusting. We are the ones so concerned about the I'll while he scoffs them off as great statistics. Not an empahetic bone in his body for the sick, but boy oh boy does he defend the ones responsible for this mess.

if you read the NYT and Washington Post on a daily basis, it's not hard to see this. Coronavirus will defeat Trump.

it wasn’t that there were no social distancing policies in place. In the case of OK, it was much worse. Remember, OK did have distancing in place by placing signs in seats to ensure gaps between attendees. It was Trump’s team who removed those signs, taking active and affirmative steps to dismantle the social distancing measures. There is one party, one President who consistently, obviously and tangibly puts himself, his party and politics above the people who they are supposed to serve. @bigtexxx ’s posts and world view mirror that party And politics above everything stance.

Trump made it perfectly clear in Oklahoma that his politics and the optics of attendance were far more important to him than “keep your distance” when his people removed the signage in seats that would have created distancing. Hypocrite.

Like a broken record at this point. Same old song and dance repeating over and over. How many times has he said it looks like the hoax is over, just like the clowns he defends. Same story different week.
