They have some really nice young piece, they just need a veteran star to lead them.

Fun fact: After JVG, MDA was the only coach that lasted more than two seasons with the Knicks.

Oof that’s decent considering they’re the Knicks but let’s not act like Thibs has done anything noteworthy besides yelling last few years...gotta wonder what Thibs is thinking, no way I’d want to be around that owner and that organisation.

I think even Popovic would fail under the Knicks.

In a normal situation, I think this works out really well. He's hard nosed and can keep players focused on ball in a city that has nothing but distractions.

But the Knics organization is a graveyard where careers go to die...

    So, yeah.

To be fair (your post is a good point) ..being a low seeded team in the East is likely going to attract some star player.

I mean, players are just looking for reasons to play there and if he can get them in at 8 next season maybe that's the reason some bigger name goes there.

yes, sir charles barkley. he could be the coach's version of that ownership. kenny can be his lead assistant. that way we won't have to hear their names in the garm again, unless it's about old rockets history.

they have rj barrett and robinson. The rest team needs to be traded off including randle . They should have some good picks coming in this year also. These two kids have a promising future and they need to rebuild around them if they are smart. Young and very good players that dont have off cour
yeah i would like to see the knicks a dominant team again. Sad to see such a big market team fail. RJ barrett and robinson are young and very good players they need to build around, promising future and they keep their nose clean. If they can get AD next year next to robinson downlow, thats a very good team. they need to trade randle hes a ball hog thats stunning their growth.

RIP Barrett and Knox. 46 mins a game until their 25 year old bodies feel 40.

I don't really understand this hire. What did he do with the young talent in Minneapolis that indicated that he's the right hire to help mold the Knicks young roster? Wiggins looked significantly better the second Thibodeau was gone.
