They said Brandon Clarke was the steal of the draft. Guess he didn't watch any of the Nuggets last 2 games.

That wasn't a fat joke. I think MDA is trying to get Harden back into his groove. We all know the more Harden plays the better he plays. That's not sustainable for 80+ games and a playoff run, but he can do it now.

I won't harp on the negatives, but I will admit that Harden's BB IQ is off the charts, comparable to LeBron really in that regard. That's what makes them so special, they see the floor and things unfolding differently than most players. He's got 2 prime years left, gotta win right now. I don't want him to become a "Dan Marino," but it's more likely than not unfortunately. Still rooting my butt off of course.

Another shout out to McLemore...26 pts on 80% shooting...6/7 threes.

this team is such an enigma. at times they look unbeatable or they look like a bottom standing team.

    Not as bad as Horford

(who I think we should trade EGo for in the off-season)

What he meant was there is nothing new.

WB and JH are who they are.
Rockets can get hot from 3, can play good D for couple quarters.
Ben Mac has been one of the top shooters this season.
Jeff Green is playable, Roco a natural fit.

    Austin a nice complimentary piece.

    Ego has been inconsistent.

That was all prior to the Covid break.
MDA talking more about change than there is change.

Whole New Game = Old Game

Lol harden is so good that in his sleep and 4 months of no basketball he score 31-8-9 on great efficiency. Right now

    harden
    Green
    House
    Mclemor

are the only ones that actually look like professional ball players. Russ is rusty but Gordon has no excuses

I was thinking Ben's offense wasn't as important as a hustle man. I was wrong. Rockets going to need Ben. I still hope MDA will find time for DMC and Luc.

DMC leading the team with 9 rebounds in 11 minutes +16

Its only scrimmage, for sure. To answer your question, do I think we will be better when the rust is gone? Absolutely. Do I think its going to be a big enough jump that some of the higher seeded teams don't expose us? No. Is it Harden's fault? No way, and I am a card carrying "Harden Hater".

It's their shooting. Unfortunately, they don't shoot well enough as a team for this style to be sustainable. Look, Ben had to hit 6/7 three's for us to win. Might not be as fortunate next time.
