There’s a group of people here
Who have been angry at Kenny for not predicting the Rockets winning a title for the last 20 years
    On TNT

it’s the same group of people who jump like teenage girls at a Justin Bieber show when Max Kellerman reads something about the Rockets on tv

Kenny Smith was like the pretty girl that was better looking than the homecoming / prom queen that wasn’t even in the court because she just didn’t care. Kenny Smith was one of the most frustrating players to ever put on Rocket’s jersey. So much talent and so much promise but just flat. He never lived up to anything near what should have been. As a lifelong fan seeing this for years it’s not that easy forgotten.

He had the talent/skill set to be an all star player but wasn’t even close to being one. That was my frustration with him. Perhaps I believed in him to much because of years and years of Winston Garland, Sleepy and the like. He was billed as the change needed and never really produced as an all star. Just a role player (there is nothing wrong with that) but a key player no. When Sam came in it looked like a different team. The best way to summarize it, it always looked like Kenny was trying not to lose vs the rest of the team trying to win. I don’t personally know KS and I am go off the memory from 30 years ago.

Can you state your reasons for accusing kenny smith of being a sellout?

    Simple. they think it's because

    1. Not saying the Rockets are the best team in the NBA for 20 years in a row
    2. Not saying the Rockets are going to win the championship (except this year)

    That's it.

The entire board is very sensitive to TV analysts. You can easily search the large percentage of the posts are by paid TV analyst 'opinions' (Scripts)

When Clutchfans doesn't hear 'The Rockets will win the championship this year"
    then they go crazy.

Kenny just said he thought we'd win this year, but the mob doesn't care, they got their feelings hurt already
