This is all so stupid. We can’t allow valuing the work that the police do in our society to be turned into tacit support for racism and bigotry. Who cares what those people think? Our beliefs and values should not be dictated by what people we disagree with on certain issues believe. It’s the other way around, what we believe and value should determine the extent of the disagreement.
It's a free country, you can support and believe what you want. And if it's about something where people have varying opinions on, then you're going to get people coming at you from all sides. That is nothing new here. Just stand for what you believe in, even in adversity. You can also value the work you police do in the community, while also acknowledging the wrongdoings that happen by the police. It shouldn't be so black and white

yeah I only knew about the thin blue line here in this forum a couple of weeks ago and even if he had an idea what it is, the blue in his mask was not as obvious so thats another possibility

I mean what right does a group or movement have to just take over a color or symbol without anyone else recognizing it? Blue was blue before it having anything to do with cops. Just cause some random ass group of nobody racists wanna make the blue flag their symbol doesn't mean that we have to buy in and relent the color to them. If incels started posting on 4chan or whatever backwater site they like to congregate at that the orange circle is now their symbol, would anyone wearing orange circles be in support of incels with or without knowing about it?
That flag is very much controversial, it has been taken and flown next to the Confederate flag in Charlottesville and it has been used and connected to some extremist groups. FWIW Some police forces have banned officers from wearing the flag as a face mask because it is divisive. Other police forces have embraced it. Either way, aside from the flag, The Punisher logo has ZERO appropriate connection to the police force.
