Evaporator coil in my AC went out over the weekend. Got a decent estimate yesterday, but they can't fix it until tomorrow. Ugh...
That sucks. Mine went out last week and it took 2 days to fix and it was not as hot as this week. Yikes.
I remember 2 or 3 times when this happened back in the 80's, after he got home from work, we all went to the Adam's Mark Hotel for the night.
Hopefully working fine now? Mine is only 10 years old, so seems pretty early to have to replace. But apparently Lennox units are crap. There was a class action lawsuit for their evaporator coils but it was settled years ago. Lucky for us, my in-laws live 15 minutes away and have plenty of space. Slept there last night and will again tonight. Upstairs was set at 68 degrees.....
When is this freaking High Pressure gonna move? This is not enjoyable this early in the Summer. I swear when I retire I'm literally out of here as quickly as possible.
